Set in the heart of Sultanahmet in Istanbul’s old city, the Rast Hotel is a traditional Turkish property featuring classic Ottoman-style décor throughout.
The hotel is within a 20-minute walk of many of Istanbul’s major attractions, such as the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar. Alternatively, the nearest tram stop is five minutes on foot, which connects you with the rest of the old quarter, or the European side of the capital where the famous Taksim Square is situated. Sirkeci train station is a 12-minute drive away and the ferry port is 14 minutes by car.
Serving continental breakfast and traditional Turkish dishes, the rooftop restaurant and cafe has outdoor seating with views of the Bosphorus and the Blue Mosque. The ornate lobby - complete with a chandelier, several artworks and beautiful, patterned ceiling - has massage chairs which guests can use for free.
Rooms have balconies, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, mini bars and air conditioning. Located on the top floor, the suites are larger and have views of the Bosphorus strait.
