Hotel JL No 76 is a stylish boutique hotel in two 18th-century townhouses in Amsterdam's Fashion & Museum Quarter, an area of the city summed up by Time Out as "a mix of culture and couture".
The Fashion & Museum Quarter is in Amsterdam's South (Zuid) district. The hotel is a minute's walk from the high-end shopping street PC Hoofstraat, a 4-minute walk from the Vondelpark, and within five minutes from the Stedelijk, Museum, the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum. Nieuwmarkt, in the central canal district, is 29 minutes' walk away, or you can get a tram from the Rijksmuseum towards Centraal Station in 23 minutes. Bicycles are available to rent from the hotel if you want to explore Amsterdam in the traditional Dutch way.
Breakfast is available from 7-11am (extra charges apply, however for one price you can have everything on the menu), and the hotel’s Honesty-Bar serves lunch, dinner, drinks and tapas in the lounge from 7am-11pm – alternatively, you can have your drinks or food served in the private courtyard garden.
All individually designed rooms have Nespresso machines, COCO-MAT beds, and wallpaper by renowned Dutch artist Barbara Broekman. Standard Rooms have king-size or twin beds, a flat-screen TV and DVD player, an iPod docking station, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Souterrain Rooms (including the Family Room) have the same facilities, but are below ground level. The Executive Rooms are larger, have street or garden views, and include have a Jacuzzi bathtub. Executive Deluxe rooms add a private sitting area. The basement-level Family Room has bunk beds and an ensuite bathroom in a room adjoining the main bedroom, as well as a Jacuzzi bathroom.
