Poor Check in experiance, Hassles as Wife arrived before i could get from work meant no room allocated. When phoned to complain were alloacted a dismal Disabilty Access room ( NOT required ). Re-allocated a room that has not seen a re-furb since hotel was first built. Restaurant Staff and Food rescued the stay, great service and food mae fresh and tasty. Parking facility poor state of repair - car damaged by unseen bricks on ranpway, only option to park was down dark area filled with puddles and mud - Park on Street ! - Cheaper and Safer. NOT a 4 Star Hotel - there are better and Cheaper options in Glasgow, i'd recommend using one of them until they spend some money updating this place.

Nicer hotel than the outside suggests, large airy rooms and pleasant staff.. Good leisure area with a decent pool and a good breakfast. One complaint was the hotel being a little over warm but overall excellent

All fine, got a big room, view, and a bath (thats a good thing!). Nice and quiet, comfy bed. Very good with Coeliac-friendly breakfast - thanks Laura supervising breakfast shift!

Stayed two nights, part of the offer was bottle of wine and breakfast each day. Hotel fine with this first night, but referred me to front of house manager for second night (Mon 10th Feb, early afternoon) -- he refused to honour the offer of wine, despite agreeing that's what our Travelzoo deal stated. Said they didnt mean that and he'd speak to Marketing about it. Thought about complaining (to you, credit card company, and hotel management) but felt great service from other staff made up for this guy.

The first room we were allocated had a really bad smell coming from the shower curtain. We were moved to another room which smelt much better. The rooms could do with a freshen up and our room 513 didn't have any bedside lights which is unusual. Although I had called ahead and booked a table for dinner in the restaurant the restaurant was closed as the Hotel wasn't busy enough so we had dinner in the bar instead as that was the only option. Dinner was nice and the bar had a nice atmosphere. The young guy who works in the pool area keeps the pool etc. very clean and looking really nice, however the changing rooms could certainly do with an upgrade. All the staff we encountered were lovely. It was good value for money on a Sunday having a swim etc, dinner, bed and breakfast for £89.00.

At that price we would go back. Not many Hotels in Glasgow have the use of a pool, jacuzzi, etc.

Very well situated for exploring Glasgow. Bus stop and train station very close. Food very for the price we paid. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed and fault spacious room. Good swimming pool and steam room and gym. Overall very good value.
Other Comments
The bathroom could have been cleaner. Especially the floor which needed a good scrub particularly in the corners. The grouting was also a bit mouldy in places.

Check in was very easy reception staff very pleasant. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very nice.Breakfast was nice.
Other Comments
The one complaint I would have was that our room did not have bedside lights which surprised us as the room lighting was not great for reading in bed.

Hotel is very pleasant throughout and a lovely pool with steam room, spa and jacuzzi. Buffet breakfast which is very good.Staff are all polite and helpful. Hotel is just own the road from the main station, but a little far from the main shopping area. However, in summer a nice walk along the river brings you to the museums. Pool is great and so are the steam rooms
Other Comments
Rooms do look a little tired and dark and shower cubicles would be so much better than a bath with shower over. Hotel generally needs brightening up. Not a complaint, just an observance.
