The 4-star Hilton Belfast is in the Lanyon Place district of the city, overlooking the River Lagan and near the Waterfront Hall conference, arts and exhibition centre. The hotel is ideally situated for exploring many of Belfast's top tourist attractions.
The hotel is a 6-minute walk from Belfast Central railway station and three minutes from one of the city's oldest attractions, the lively 19th-century St George's Market, which features local produce, arts and crafts on weekends, with live music on Sundays. Across the bridge, just over a mile from the hotel, is another of Belfast's star attractions, Titanic Belfast, where theTitanic was built. Victoria Square Shopping Centre, with more than 50 shops, is an 8-minute walk from the hotel, and the Odyssey Arena sports and entertainment centre is 16 minutes away. Crumlin Road Gaol, a former Victorian-era prison that was in operation until 1996 and is open seven days a week, is a half-hour walk from the hotel.
Dining options include the hotel's Sonoma Restaurant, serving traditional Irish and British food among floor-to-ceiling-window views over the River Lagan, and Cables Bar, which is open until 1am, and serves wines, tapas and cocktails.
