The Carnival Palace is a 4-star boutique hotel overlooking the Cannaregio Canal -- the second largest in Venice -- in the historic Jewish Ghetto area of downtown Venice. The property opened in 2012 and blends contemporary design with traditional Venetian furnishings.
Tre Archi Vaporetto water bus stop is across the road from the property and connects to St Mark's Square by water bus lines 5.1, 5.2 and 4.2. The immediate area remains the centre of Jewish life in Venice and is home to period houses, synagogues and kosher restaurants.
The property has a private landscaped garden where breakfast can be taken in the morning. The Mask bar serves wine and cocktails, and has views out over the Cannaregio Canal. There is a 24-hour concierge service and luggage storage at the hotel.
All rooms are individually designed and have garden or canal views, parquet floors, marble bathrooms and Murano glass chandeliers. There's also free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Upgrade to a Superior Room for a 4-poster bed, while some of the suites have hot tubs. All rooms are non smoking.
