The Hotel Original Paris is a boutique property, with décor inspired by classic fairytales and other stories.
Located between Place des Vosges and Place de la Bastille, the hotel is close to shops, bars and restaurants, making it a great base for those that want to explore Paris's nightlife and culinary scene. Time Out says that "the streets immediately north and east" of Place de la Bastille "are particularly strong on good yet affordable restaurants" and it also describes the nightlife as "energetic". The Bastille Metro station is five minutes away and you can easily walk to the historic district of Marais, where you'll find museums, galleries and fashion boutiques.
The hotel has 38 rooms and each one has been individually designed by the French fashion designer Stella Cadente. Some of the rooms have been inspired by "Alice in Wonderland". According to Condé Nast Traveller, guests should expect "a crazy mix of black-and-white striped walls, chequerboard tiles and heavy black curtains printed with giant clubs, spades and diamonds." Each room has an iPod docking station and Wi-Fi is free throughout.
Breakfast is served between 7am and 11am, and includes hot drinks, bread, pastries, yogurt, orange juice, cereal and fresh fruit.
