The 6-storey Lenox Montparnasse is a 3-star property in La Rive Gauche, in the heart of Montparnasse. The area is well known for art and literature -- indeed surrealist artist Man Ray once stayed at the property. There are plenty of bistros, cafés and bars in the surrounding streets, or you can head towards the nearby Latin Quarter and Saint Germain des Prés for more dining options.
Local attractions include the Jardin du Luxembourg's 17th-century landscaped gardens and the theatres of the Rue de la Gaîté, both less than a 10-minute walk away. The nearest Metro stations are Vavin, which has services to Notre Dame and the Pompidou Centre that take less than 15 minutes, and Edgar Quinet for easy connections to the Eiffel Tower and the Palais de Chaillot.
There’s free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, complimentary tea and coffee in the honesty bar from 2pm every day, and a choice of full-cooked and continental breakfast each morning.
Rooms are simple, but with antique flourishes -- some are a little on the small side but this is to be expected in Paris. There are tea- and coffee-making facilities and air conditioning, and some rooms have a small balcony. They are all accessible via the lift. Upgrade to a Junior Suite for more space and a seating area.
