Hotel Tamarindo Diria Beach Resort offers an exotic getaway for groups, families and couples. The five-acre resort is located in Guanacaste, on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast, and is part of Las Bualas National Park.
Three villages make up the sprawling resort including the Sunset (beachfront) village, Tropicana just for adults and Lagoon’s family-friendly option. All accommodations include complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen televisions, coffeemakers and refrigerators. A breakfast buffet is included in all room rates, and for other meals, guests can choose among seafood, steak, pizza and authentic Costa Rican cuisine at the property’s six restaurants. There are five bars on site for after-dinner drinks or happy-hour cocktails.
Beyond the property’s white sand beach, the resort offers four swimming pools -- including one catering to children -- in addition to illuminated tennis courts, a fitness center and a whirlpool tub. After the sun goes down, guests can try their luck at the Petit Casino or dance until dawn at the hotel’s upscale discotheque. Nearby, visitors can hit the links on two world-class golf courses, take surfing lessons and zip-line through the jungle canopy.
