Bath, with its "sweeping, honey-stone Georgian crescents and terraces spread over a green, hilly bowl" (The Daily Telegraph), is home to Bath Abbey, a "15th-century edifice of golden, glowing stone" (Fodor's) that is 10 minutes' walk from The Ayrlington. The Roman Baths, one of the world's best-preserved Roman bathhouses, is also 10 minutes from the hotel. Pulteney Bridge, inspired by the famous Ponte Vecchio Bridge in Florence, Italy, is less than half a mile away. The area also has a wide range of delis, restaurants and bars.
