This sprawling, 153-acre Harbourtowne resort offers more than 100 waterfront guest rooms featuring dramatic views of both the Chesapeake Bay and Miles River.

Ease back, watch the yachts sail by and take in the beautiful scenery from a private balcony or patio, available in all rooms. Many rooms feature fireplaces or wood-burning stoves; complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout. Rooms also feature spacious bathrooms and Keurig coffeemakers.

Relax at the large seasonal outdoor pool or gather some friends for some competition on the courts: tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball and horseshoes. Sit down for dinner at the Bayview Restaurant overlooking the water and top the night off with a night cap at the Duck Blind Lounge. Guests should note that the golf course and Country Club Grille are both currently closed for renovation.

The sleepy town of St. Michaels exudes seaside charm. Its historic flavor is evident in the brick-lined walkways, colonial houses, stone churches and decorated storefronts. Soak up the history and traditions of the bay at the 16-acre Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. The museum offers several events throughout the year including outdoor Big Band concerts and festivals.

Visitors to St. Michaels can also ride the Oxford-Bellevue Ferry, deemed “America's Oldest Ferry,” tour sites in a horse-drawn carriage or cruise the bay in a working, sail-powered skipjack.

Enjoyed Most: The room was cozy, clean and quaint and the view of the bay was magnificent. The service at the front desk and the restaurant was very accommodating
Other Comments: The resort was offering complimentary breakfast to guests but we didn't qualify because we booked through a third party (TRAVELZOO ). Being a resort, and in season, the food prices were high and the breakfast would have been a nice benefit. Also, the golf course was completely torn up....no golf at all.

It should b stated on your web page The reservation clerk, before we arrived, was very helpful as I made a error on line and a joy booked one night. She called me back and made sure we got second night in the same room. Thank u. Staff at restaurant could be a little better.

Enjoyed Most: We enjoyed our overall experience at Harbourtown. Every staff member we interfaced was very welcoming, warm and above all pleasant.
Other Comments: Harbourtown, St. Michaels is really a hidden jewel. To wake up hearing the sound of the waves and the ammenity of our room choice made it more phenomenal. The food was awesome! The landscaping throughout is just Gorgeous!! I do recommend adding to youd packing list: insect propellant as with any outdoor sitting it is most needed and we also carried a candlelabra to sit on the rear of our room to ensure we enjoyed the pleasure of sitting near the bay right outside of our room. Lastly, adding a fragrance candle to your room as with any enclosure not utilizing AC while unoccupied near water gives the damp odor however, the candle and AC lured it away in no time.

Other Comments: The room was dirty. The balcony was dirty. The mattresses were old. The hairdryer didn't work. The furniture was outdated. The front desk called us before our checkout time.
