Great location. Beach is nice but crowded. Rooms are a little worn but bed was comfy. Lots of dogs. It’s definitely a pet friendly hotel. Food was ok. The coffee bar in the lobby was great.

Very happy booking through Travelzoo. Received great value as I had been comparing prices. Would be nice to have beach chairs and umbrella included in the resort fee.

We had a lovely family vacation at Sonesta Hilton Head. The resort was beautiful and almost felt like you were on a Caribbean vacation. The easy access of getting to the pool and beach was perfect and what we were hoping for. The pool would get pretty crowded but to be expected during the summer, I suppose. Our entire family really enjoyed our time there and we hope to return again.

It's a nice resort with everything you could want. Rooms are spacious and clean, restaurants are pretty good, common areas are nice and comfortable, pool area is very charming. Staff is friendly and helpful, though I wouldn't say they're actively attentive. And it's truly dog friendly, lots of cute pups everywhere (except the pool), yet still clean! But it's a little dated and under serviced for the cost, eg.. Rooms have popcorn ceilings, indoor restaurant has the aesthetic of Denny's, no beach service/attendants, limited shuttle service, etc. And there's not quite enough parking when the hotel is full. (They had to valet). They also don't really have beach towels, you just have to bring their small pool towels to the beach. It's more like a $150-200/night experience, not $300+. But I totally enjoyed it.

We were looking to visit Hilton Head as we have never been. I researched the hotel prices and they were a bit higher than expected. I jumped on travelzoo to see if they had any specials and the Sonesta popped up at a significant savings over all other rates. We were able to upgrade to a room with a pool view and still save money. Hotel was beautiful, clean, parking was free and we liked the privacy of the location.

Great location, nice amenities. The outdoor pool should not be closing at 8 pm. The wi-fi is very weak and not accessible higher up but great place overall.

Very nice hotel. Short walk to the beach. Service was excellent. Not much to do at night. Pool closes at 8 and no entertainment. Food can get expensive with all the service charges and you have to drive to get to other restaurants.
