Our room was gorgeous, and the tub was a great surprise! My husband noted on the reservation that we were there for my 50th birthday, and the staff left a lovely note and champagne/strawberries - such a nice touch. We checked in with Chela and she was amazing with suggestions for dinner, and gave us a few discount cards. She did not steer us wrong. Overall, a great stay and they made my birthday awesome!

Hotel is updated and rooms are very spacious. Bathrooms were a little small but otherwise the rooms were great. Great coffee bar in the lobby every morning, specialty coffee for purchase but regular coffee was free as well as iced tea and lemonade and a water station in the afternoons. Happy hour in the lobby was great as well. The restaurant wasnt open all the time so that was a little wierd, didnt really eat there because we didnt know when they would be open or closed. The bar by the pool was great, happy hour deals were really good. Very close to PetCo park if you are going to a ball game and within walking distance to all the restaurants in the gaslamp district.

Reed, The front desk manager was excellent in following up with us. She was very responsive & accommodating. We really appreciated her follow through & her effort in providing us with outstanding customer service. Page at the front desk was exceptionally professional & friendly.

I booked 2 rooms and when I got there they said I had 3 rooms. They weren't helpful at all. I had to do all the legwork myself to clear it up. Then they said they would text me when room was available. I recieved text and when I came back, they said text was a mistake.

After telling the manager about our mattress that was dipping on the middle, we switched rooms and were upgraded to a deluxe room that was just perfect. Everyone was so helpful and lovely - From the house cleaners to the front desk staff to Anna, our favorite manager. Will definitely stay again!
