Club Quarters Houston is about a 30-minute drive from George Bush Intercontinental Airport, and cab fare will cost approximately $60 one way. From William P. Hobby airport, guests can expect approximately a 20-minute drive and about a $35 cab fare one way. Valet parking is available on-site for $19.95 per day with full in-and-out privileges.

Other Comments: The room was painfully small and cramped. The bathroom was not particularly clean and based on the handwritten note taped to the shower wall from the day before that housekeeping should not clean the shower due to wet caulking.. I will assume the shower was never cleaned between the last guest and ourselves. The shower head provided precisely 4 trickle streams of hot water with no pressure what so ever. If you turned to cold you got full blast ice cold water with pressure. The blow dryer did not work. The bed appeared two separate twin mattresses thrown on top of a double size box spring. There was literally a sunken area about 2" wide between the two twin beds... That's just a sampling of the issues we had. After we spending 30 hrs traveling from Thailand to Houston and being ill on top of it, this room was uncomfortable, inadequate and did not provide what was needed. No front desk? You check yourself in at a kiosk which is fine for the most part but no assistance in sight.

Enjoyed Most: There was one bell guy, who was latino and thee only one friendly and helpful individual that works at the hotel.He worked the first night I check in.
Other Comments: First we were place in the smallest room. I guess if you buy from travelzoo there not to concern were they place you. I have been to many hotels before and most checkin are friendly,but for this hotel don't expect it. They are just there to work and they will need to charge extra for customer service, I guess. Last put not least was when I valet my car. I went to the front desk to ask for my car ( since I lost my ticket) and they ask me for my room number. So, I gave it to an individual (he seemed to look like the manager) he found my car and said he will tell the valet men to bring it around. I waited for 15 min and my car was still not in the front. One of the valet men ask me " may I help you?" (since he seem to notice I was pacing back and forth to see if my vehicle arrived) I explain to him that I was waiting for my car. The valet man went to the front desk and the keys were still laying on the desk. The manger or whomever I spoke to, never gave my keys to anyone from the valet service.
