Le Petit Belloy Saint-Germain
About the Hotel
Why We Love This Hotel
- The hotel is near the Jardin du Luxembourg in St-Germain-des-Prés
- It's a short walk from Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Latin Quarter
Le Petit Belloy Saint-Germain is in St-Germain-des-Prés, an upmarket neighbourhood on Paris's Left Bank. "If you had to choose the most classically Parisian neighborhood, this would be it", says Fodor's.
The area was popular with artists and writers in the 20th century, when Picasso, Hemingway and Camus were regulars at the Café de Flore and Les Deux Magots on the Boulevard Saint-Germain. Nowadays its streets are full of designer boutiques, bookshops and art galleries. The Jardin du Luxembourg is a 5-minute walk from the hotel, and the Musée Delacroix is 10 minutes' walk away (open Wednesday-Monday; entry included with a ticket to the Musée du Louvre).
The Latin Quarter, where you'll find the Musée National du Moyen Âge and the Jardin des Plantes, is also within walking distance. The Île de la Cité, an island in the middle of the River Seine, is a 10-minute walk from the hotel for visits to Notre-Dame Cathedral and Sainte Chapelle.
The hotel serves a buffet breakfast (7-10:30am). A pocket mobile Wi-Fi device can be hired for 1€ per day. Classic Rooms are soundproofed and offer free Wi-Fi. Some rooms have balconies.
