It was all good, but room was not as shown on the ads. It was older and dated, but still pleasant. Ad showed updated room with fireplace. We did not get that

Stay was adequate but not as many Amenities as I expect in this price range. No tea or hot water and just two Kerig coffee pods in room refrigerator but no microwave. Nothing for breakfast was provided, but you could buy breakfast. No pool. Nice walk along river to Ox Bow commons, but everything else involved driving.

Went for breakfast and waited 15-20 minutes and still no one even asked if we wanted coffee. So we left and walked into town to eat. The bar was only open 4:30-7:30. Very limited menu. Asked for more bath towels because they only had 2 in the room and we stayed 3 nights. No maid service due to Covid. The “river view” is not much of a river. It’s dark green and barely moves. The terrace was miniscule and barely fit the chairs and table.

My friend and I arrived earlier than check in but we were able to get our room. Upon entering I found balloons tied to a bottle of red wine and a Happy Birthday card from the establishment. It was a totally unexpected surprise but greatly appreciated. The next day which was my actual bday There was a sign that said Happy Birthday Gloria another fun surprise. The staff was very sweet and helpful as things in the hospitality business is different but they did the best they could. I was very pleased and would love to return someday.

It was good, although I didn't find much value in the voucher. I had to add tax on top, which put me back in the range of what the hotel was offering at the time. The bottle of wine was nice, but only 1 bottle even though 2 vouchers were purchased. Also needed the voucher number and pin at checkout, which I did not have handy and was in a rush. Would prefer to handle this at check in.

Very clean, quiet & peaceful and convenient location on the river. Walking distance to eats, drinks, and sweets, brewery & wine tasting. Staff very polite & friendly!
