Our stay at the Hilton exceeded my expectations and was fantastic! The location was outstanding, the staff was super friendly and the room was awesome! A nearby parking garage was reasonably priced and easy to access, over the $50 valet parking. I hope this deal comes again because I’m already looking forward to going back to DC and enjoying our Nation’s Capito!

I had a pleasant time at the hotel and the surrounding area. It is easy to get around. the front desk staffs and over all service made me feel at home. 4 days gone by that i had to count was it the day to pack.

Room wasn’t very clean and told they wouldn’t provide cleaning services unless scheduled in advance. Instead of telling me amenities just told me all the things they didn’t offer. Parking was insanely high and recommended parking at the Ritz down the road (because it was cheaper)—ridiculous! Not very well suited for families with kids. Asked for hot chocolate or herbal tea k-cups, they acted clueless why anyone would want that. Stuck is in a room right by the elevator with no view.

Hotel needed better upkeep; carpets in public areas needed vacuuming. Our bed linens were very old. Staff at reception wasn’t welcoming. Never greeted us when returning from the day. Just a Blah experience. Room was fine; had been updated at some point. Our room didn’t have a sitting chair which annoyed me but I didn’t let them know when I was there. The most important reason why I wouldn’t return is the location. Our first time in the West End and it is lacking on restaurants and bars. Chef Geoff’s in the hotel was nice but expensive- scrambled eggs and toast was $18. We could walk to Georgetown which helped.

The room was not cleaned on the last day, and the cleaner simply hung up the dirty towels on the rack. I called the front desk, and they put me on hold and never came back. I stopped at the front desk on my way to dinner, and they said that they would send up someone with clean towels, but they didn't. Also, a roach climbed up the wall behind me in the dining room. I can't believe that this is a Hilton.

First visit to DC, hotel was very centrally located. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel restaurant was great in many ways, the food was delicious and the restaurant manager was just a doll. She treated us to a champagne toast and free dessert after listening to our story, a group of 60 something friends who were celebrating 50 years of friendship on this trip.

The hotel staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. However, they are short-staffed and the rooms were not cleaned while we were there. The associated restaurant, Chef Geoff, was not well managed. It is a middle of the road restaurant and a good value for the money, but there were many items they were out of. This did not appear to be Covid-related, rather poor management. Would not recommend the restaurant.

The hotel was a bit out of the way from the downtown restaurants, but we love to walk, so did not mind that. It was a bit of a walk to the museums and National Mall, but an easy walk to the metro.

Second or third time booking through Travelzoo and the Hotel staff always has to fumble around with check in and look at you like what is this and it takes them forever to plug things in even though I can show them on my phone. Finally all is approved and OK but always some confusion on their part initially.

Clean and welcoming hotel. Breakfast is not included but the attached restaurant; Chef Geoff's offered a menu that was delicious and fairly priced. Nice wait staff too! Front desk staff were great at the hotel, thank you to Mike! We stayed four nights and loved it! If you need a taxi to the airport, book it at least 12 hours in advance with front desk.

This hotel is centrally located within walking distance to great restaurants and DC sites. A couple blocks to the Metro bus stop and 3 blocks to the Metro subway station. Easy walk and fairly safe neighborhood, since it is close/within Georgetown U area.

I have 3 separate reservations. One week before arrival, they messed up my reservations and ping-ponged me back and forth between Travelzoo and the Hilton.
And then ever since we checked in it’s just one problem after another.

Everything about it can use an upgrade: from more friendly staff, to a more functional and cleaner hotel room (mold in the bathroom) to learning how to operate a hotel.

The reservations were a mess.
One of the 3 rooms we booked were completely clogged.
All three rooms were supposed to have 2 queen beds in each. We only got one room with two queen beds. The other two only got one bed. We asked to switch to another room but were told they were all full. Then they said they would give us a roll-away bed which they never did and never called to let us know. So one of my adult kids had to sleep on the floor.
Then on the last day we have not checked out yet because it was still too early, we went to get coffee and came back around 8:50am they came in and cleaned out our room and threw away all our food that we left in the fridge that we prepared for our today’s travel.
