Check in at the Scott Resort & Spa and kick back in a serene space inspired by the four elements. This resort reflects its natural surroundings near Camelback Mountain while maintaining a secluded vibe. Old Town Scottsdale, a charming area full of boutiques and restaurants, is just a five-minute drive away.

The resort just completed renovations to the lobby and meeting space as well as the restaurant and bar, The Canal Club. Guest rooms are spacious and have a private patio or balcony, complimentary Wi-Fi and rainfall showers. Sleep on a plush, pillowtop bed with a down pillow, and plug in to an iPod docking station.

Visitors can mingle with other guests at the outdoor fire pit. Cool off from year-round sunshine in one of two pools -- the torch-lit resort pool is the perfect spot for relaxing during the day and sets a romantic scene for an evening swim, while the sandy beach pool includes a shore on which kids can play. For a more secluded place to relax, head to the lagoon, which provides plenty of shade. Scottsdale is also an area known for golfing, and several courses are within a short drive.

From the press:
  • "This Scottsdale escape provides an elegant, intimate, eco- and family-friendly environment" -- Fodor's
  • "Certainly plush, but it feels less stuffy than some of its highfalutin neighbors" -- Lonely Planet
  • "Delivers friendly service and amenities similar to those at the five-star resorts up the road -- but without the expense" -- Travel + Leisure

The quiet, relaxing atmosphere!

Their website states there are robes in the rooms. Ours did not, so we asked housekeeping for them but never received them. Upon checking out we mention it to the front desk clerk who was very concerned. He then removed the charge for our meal we had at the resort to make this up to us! He went above and beyond. So if you’re unhappy with anything don’t wait or ask housekeeping, but go to the front desk!! Our stay was great except for a few hiccups.

The Resort is so beautiful but if I had to pick one thing it would be the staff. They are so amazing.

The lobby area is very pretty and the outdoor area seems very nice if they would clean it up. Enjoyed the Nesspresso coffee on the balcony.
Other Comments
The outside area was dirty and we had problems with room service. They did not bring the food as ordered and there was a hair in the food on one of the plates. Lay out of room was odd. Huge walk in closet but small bathroom with poor lighting for the mirror.

Beautiful property inside and out. Large fire pits to gather around in the evening and meet fellow travelers or for large family gatherings. Nicely appointed cocktail list and bar tenders who will make hand crafted cocktails from the ingredients you enjoy. Love the access to the bikes to explore nearby old town and the friendly staff.
