This hotel is in a great location for those interested in seeing Burlington on foot. The waterfront, Church St Market, and many outstanding restaurants and brew pubs are easy to access. The lobby and mezzanine areas are quite large and pleasant, and there are expansive views of Lake Champlain from corridor windows on each floor.

The hotel was nice but busy, I had to go to the lobby as they did not pick up the call from the room because the smoke detector needed a battery. Otherwise everything was great!

I told the front desk that the shower.was not draining correctly. Taking a shower standing in 4-5” of water is unacceptable. Two days and the issue was not resolved. Also the $25 dollar meal chit was not explained at checkin. Very unorganized to get a sandwich at breakfast. I was not impressed with the lack of concern when we had talked to the front desk , no follow up.

Nice touch was the cocoa and cider in the lobby when we arrived. Although the first woman at the check-in counter walked away as soon as I approached, came back a minute later and immediately walked away again, both times looking at me and not saying anything (perhaps I forgot that I had my invisibility shield on?), the woman who finally did help was very nice. We got a corner room, over the building vents, but the sound was minor. The room was clean, bright, comfortable, clean clean. Appreciated the small sanitizing sheets in the room and available in the halls. Good coffee station, though slow to brew each individual cup so the line got long - but everybody was nice about waiting.

Wow - $27 for breakfast??? And didn't see anything special on the buffet table, not even fresh-squeezed orange juice. We talked about it in the elevator with another couple also taken back by the cost and decided to eat out. We'd spent $56 at the bar the night before for two drinks and a burger and fries, which was pricey, so we should have seen the breakfast's high cost coming. The burger/fries were very good, but overpriced.
