Standing tall on Ocean Drive, The Tides South Beach, an eye-catching art deco edifice, is hard to miss. The property dates back to 1936 and is known for its exceptional interiors, South Beach views and excellent staff. Guests will feel thoroughly spoiled with their own personal assistant assigned upon check-in, which takes place in the comfort of your own room, rather than the lobby.
The Tides Restaurant serves beef sliders, pizza and paella throughout the day in an airy South Beach dining room facing the ocean. Breakfast is available until midday and includes Miami favorites such as egg-white frittata and homemade pineapple granola.
The dimly lit coral bar is an intimate spot for cocktails (Miami Mojitas are the signature drink here) and there’s a small pool with loungers. Guests using the beach across the road are treated to free lounge chairs, beach towels and an umbrella. The lively restaurants and bars of Ocean Drive are a short walk away.
The beach-chic rooms all have complimentary Wi-Fi, ocean views and are massive compared to the average hotel room in South Beach. Penthouse suites have spa-style bathrooms and Nespresso machines. While most rooms don’t have balconies, the Tides Suite has its own enormous rooftop terrace.

Children and additional guests: Crib available on request, free of charge. Children under 16 stay free of charge when sharing parents’ room and using existing bedding. Extra bed (max 1) available on request and in king bed rooms only: $50 per night. Children 16 years and older are charged a 3rd person adult fee of $100 per night using existing bedding. Extra bed charges for 3rd person (16+) is $50 extra bed fee + $100 extra person fee. Charges will be added to your bill at checkout.
Pets: Pets up to 35 lbs are allowed on request and will be charged $150 per stay on checkout. Charges will be added to your bill on checkout.
