The Holiday Inn Manhattan-Financial District soars 50 stories over Lower Manhattan, providing guests with stellar views of the city and embracing its title as the tallest Holiday Inn in the world.

The hotel's sleek design has been turning heads since its grand opening in late October 2014, and its convenient downtown location makes it an attractive choice for savvy travelers. With an address in the city's most historic district, the hotel lies within a five-block radius of landmarks such as Wall Street, the New York Stock Exchange, the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, and Battery Park. Those looking to explore the outer boroughs will find five major subway lines just three blocks away, perfect for venturing uptown to Times Square and Central Park or down to Brooklyn Botanic Garden and the brownstone-lined streets of Park Slope.

Guest rooms are outfitted with views of the Hudson River and skyline, providing a peaceful retreat high above the buzzing streets below. Adjacent to the hotel, St. George Tavern – an Old Shanghai-inspired restaurant housed in the landmark St. George Chapel – offers one of the most unique ambiances in the area alongside the perfect fusion of East and West cuisine.

Other Comments: We felt we were overcharged for the hotel stay per night. It was $350.00 with tax and we did not feel it was worth it. The compressor for the AC in the room was so loud, you could hardly sleep. Although located right in the Financial District it was still not worth the money.

Enjoyed Most: The hotel was close to the subway stop (2 blocks), plenty of options in the area for food and drink. Short walk to 9/11 muesum, Staten Island Ferry and Battery Park.
Other Comments: With only 3 elevators for a 50 story building there were times when you had to wait for 2 or 3 elevatoirs that stopped before you found one that had room to ride down.
