The hotel is approximately a 25-minute car ride from LaGuardia Airport. Cab fare is approximately $35 one way. John F. Kennedy International Airport is approximately a 45-minute drive in good traffic from Hilton Garden Inn New York/West 35th Street. Cab fare is approximately $60 one way. The AirTrain Newark from Penn Station (which is a 10-minute walk from the hotel) is approximately a 55-minute ride, pending no delays. Self-parking cost is an additional $40 nightly for cars and $60 nightly for SUVs.

Less than a 10-minute walk leads to Madison Square Garden and the hub of Penn Station. A 10-minute walk in the other direction reaches Bryant Park, a leafy respite anchored on one end by the grand Beaux-Arts main branch of the New York Public Library. One block away is Avenue of the Americas, home to hundreds of restaurants and shopping opportunities.
