Enjoyed Most: Excellent facilities, friendly staff and great breakfast.
Other Comments: A bit disappointed we had a single bed in with our double.

Enjoyed Most: The hotel itself is lovely and the rooms are great however the staff and service are really excellent. Antonio and Helen in particular go above and beyond normal service levels and nothing is too much trouble! Breakfast was excellent on both days with a great choice of cold and hot dishes. We enjoyed the main course on our first night but felt that the starters were a little bland. Also the wine we chose was not the same vintage as advertised but this was dealt with very well.
Other Comments: You (Travelzoo) did not pass on our requests to the hotel hence they were not aware that it my birthday. They were justifiably annoyed about this so perhaps you need to tighten up your processes!

Enjoyed Most: This is a top class hotel in a lovely setting. The bedroom was spacious with a lovely firm bed and a well equipped ensuite bathroom. All of the staff were excellent, being very efficient, personable and warm. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice - try the welsh cakes and the bara brith after a tasty Welsh platter! Added to all this the dinner was a joy both to look at and eat! Overall we had a excellent stay at this lovely hotel! This hotel is not cheap but offers good value for money.

Enjoyed Most: Most of it was high class. Food good (though Table d'hote menu perhaps a little limited), room was excellent - just what we needed, and staff very helpful and pleasant
Other Comments: The lighting in the room was too dim for us who are getting to the age when this is important. I had to lean under the lamp to read!! Advertised shoe cleaning, but it did not happen
