The Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile was completely refurbished in 2014, updating the hotel’s heated indoor pool, hot tub and 24-hour fitness center. The spacious rooms have convenient in-room hospitality centers with microwaves, mini-refrigerators and Keurig coffeemakers that likely go unused since there’s a complimentary Starbucks kiosk in the lobby. Ribs and steaks are prepared in Weber Grill’s open exhibition kitchen on charcoal Weber grills. It’s forgivable that there’s only evening room service because the hotel’s surrounded by 200 restaurants, including Eataly Chicago, and even a Jewel Osco supermarket.
The hotel’s also within walking distance to Chicago's business loop and theater district, Magnificent Mile shopping and Rush Street's bars and restaurants. Public transportation is located outside the hotel’s doorstep for quick access to Navy Pier, Wrigley Field and Museum Campus.
