The AAA 4-Diamond hotel sits on a quiet block, but the excitement and the rush on Michigan Avenue is just two blocks away. Head south to Millennium Park and The Art Institute of Chicago, or north to streets full of department stores and busy shoppers. Take a warm, convenient walk up to State Street via the hotel’s underground pedway, where more shopping and the Theater District lies.

Chicago’s best dining resides steps from the hotel, but guests need not leave the property for first-class dining. Zagat calls Asian cuisine at aria restaurant and bar “extraordinary,” and the contemporary décor and artwork make for a distinctive dining experience. For a nightcap, head to Eno Wine Room for the world’s three favorite indulgences: wine, cheese and chocolate. Showcasing wine varietals from around the world, international selection of cheese and truffles from local chocolatiers, you’ll know why “good things come in threes.”

Retreat to one of the 687 nature-inspired rooms and ponder a visit to the 11,000-square-foot spa sanctuary. An extensive list of services paired with certified, soothing staff promise a personalized spa experience.

Enjoyed Most: Not really.
Other Comments: The room was extremely warm, the pillow were so unzcomfortable and the room was not very clean. We arrived around midnight and waited a long time to check in and they charged for Internet each day. Also, the restaurant said they closed at 12:00 so we tried to order at 11:45and they wouldn't let us order drinks or food. The hotel is pretty outdated, the shower and toilet areas were tiny.
