"The mini-Manhattan skyline is one of our favorite parts of the Strip" -- Fodor’s

Why We Love It

  • Authentic NYC cuisine like street-side hot dogs and fine Italian dining
  • The hotel’s 203-foot-tall roller coaster offers unique views of the Strip
  • See Cirque du Soleil’s interpretation of classic cabaret in "Zumanity"

Overview

For a taste of the Big Apple in Las Vegas, guests can book the New York-New York Hotel & Casino, located on the southern end of the Strip between the Monte Carlo and Excalibur. Lady Liberty stands tall above the boulevard, and the resort’s exterior takes after the Manhattan skyline. Guests can sightsee from the roller coaster speeding around the property at over 60 mph.

Rooms are outfitted with granite bathrooms, flat-screen TVs and the choice of one king or two queen mattresses. Suites include additional luxuries like spa tubs, seating areas, private bedrooms and wet bars.

Just like in the City That Never Sleeps, global cuisine options are available throughout the property at almost any time of day or night. Guests can grab a slice of authentic New York-style pizza or street-vendor hot dogs, while those looking for an upscale dining experience can choose between fine Italian dining and pan-Asian specialties straight out of Chinatown.

Gamblers can try their luck in the Central Park-themed casino, and Coyote Ugly welcomes adults for late-night entertainment. The resort is home to Cirque du Soleil’s risqué "Zumanity" show, and kids of all ages can play the day away in the Big Apple Arcade or treat themselves to something sweet at the two-story Hershey’s Chocolate World.

Great location. Lots to do inside the hotel. Very nice staff.

Our room overlooked the roller coaster ride which ran from 9am until midnight. It was loud and had screaming passengers the whole time. The faucet in the shower dripped to no end which made it hard to sleep. And The non smoking room smelled like smoke.

We like Hershey World. The slots were fair to us. Pour 24 bar was good. And our service and meal was good that we had in the America restaurant.

WiFi was not able to be connected to. No fridge, microwave or coffee maker in our room - most of these amenities are standard in motels now. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Sliding door was heavy and not easy to open/close. Not sure about cleanliness of the room.....when we found an old sock by the bed. No sure if room was vacuumed. I understand that we had discounted rooms but....not happy with accommodations.

Value was in the extras and I was not able to use. Dinner was a $7 slice of pizza because I could not use my dining credit.

Very nice stay. Enjoyed the hotel and the new park area outside by the new arena and theater. Only negative is the extra fees! Resort fee $35.00 + $4.68 tax = $39.68 and the pool was "closed for the season" $12.00 to park. It gets rediculous! Include it all in the cost of the room eliminate all the fees.
