Overall a very good experience. A couple of small negatives that meant it didn’t get 5* rating. The toilet in the room was very very difficulty to flush. It required a huge amount of strength to press the buttons in! My partner found the noise from the corridor prevented him from falling to sleep quickly. We were on the 11th floor on the corridor from the roof top bar. People were noisy leaving there. A couple of the staff were not particularly helpful or friendly However the rooms were clean and spacious, the bed comfortable, breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable. I would definitely return and recommend

The hotel has a great look about it externally and an ambient internal reception area. The room was very modern and comfortable. The roof top bar had spectacular views of the Gherkin, St Pauls and the White Chapel building, as well as a wonderful atmosphere.
Other Comments
The hotel was located close to Aldgate tube and bus station which made it an ideal travel hub.

Overall the hotel is great, room lovely and comfortable, breakfast good and most staff have been lovely.
Other Comments
Had an issue with the room not having been cleaned by the time we returned at 3.45pm, asked at reception and they said they would request it to be done immediately. Nearly an hour later we went back only to find the cleaning person in our room sat on the chair scrolling on her phone (at which point realising she had been caught she swore and dropped it). Upon checkout we mentioned the issue only to find the original member of staff never noted it on the system. Did receive an email shortly after leaving apologising for a "small hiccup". I've never experienced such unprofessional behaviour in a hotel, staff shouldn't be taking their break in guest rooms. Extremely surprised they think this is a small hiccup.

Arrived a little early but they had a room for us. Concierge was friendly and very helpful getting us theater tickets and telling us how to get around. Bicycles were a bonus.
