Enjoyed Most: For low budget, it's fine. It does the trick but you can also stay next door at a nicer place and have a much more welcoming experience. Just because you pay less for a hotel room doesn't mean your experience should be diminished. Who cares if we are millionaires or paupers -- staying in a hotel should feel nice and welcoming. It just wasn't that. Also the hotel was supposed to charge us when we booked but didnt charge us until we left -- annoying. But yes, the location is great for ski season. Nothing is far from town. The staff, though basically stereotypical mountain stoners, are knowledgeable and polite. The hotel isn't a dump and is mostly well maintained. The kitchenette is REALLY awesome and helpful for a mountain place.
Other Comments: I think for the cost of the hotel and the deal offered, it's fine. It works. But we were celebrating our first anniversary after an incredibly hard year and were eager to stay in a hotel, feeling as luxurious as you possibly can for $90 a night. But nothing felt that special. We were surprised to find how many things didn't work and how the staff didn't really seem to care. They were kind and helpful, but not really invested in their customers having a top notch experience. There were many things that were not working like the DVD player, the shower was messed up, our door, the hot tub downstairs and many other things. In this day and age, businesses are so focused on the experience and elevating the customer experience. Nothing was elevated about this experience. The extra daily fees were also annoying, like parking and the fitness center, but we just parked far away and walked and our fitness center was obviously the mountains.

Enjoyed Most: Room was well appointed and location was great. Liked the free bus shuttle to town.
Other Comments: Was very unhappy to discover there was a $20 per day parking fee and $20 per day resort fee. This increased the price by 50%.

Enjoyed Most: Great room.
Other Comments: Pool is the only disappointment

Enjoyed Most: Great location for the ski mountain.
Other Comments: The taxes and fees aded up to more than a third of the bill. There is a $20 valet fee and a $20 resort fee each day so you're going to pay an additional $40/day, plus a bunch of taxes on top of that. Otherwise, the hotel is nice and provides great amenities.

Enjoyed Most: The rooms...They are nice and spacious with a couch and balcony. Each room has a little refrig, sink and microwave! The location is nice as well, as it is right on the base of the mountain and chairlifts!!
Other Comments: Each time we try to self park in the evening there are numerous amount of cars parked at the end of the row so there is NO way to get around... leaving the cars to back ALL the way to the ramp! This weekend I saw several cars (Including a truck) having to back one behind the other, all the way to the ramp with no place to back around! Those cars parked at the end of the row should have been forced to valet park... it costs the same whether you valet or self park. That's just inconsiderate and rude!! I would have been very PISSED if I was one of those cars that had to backup all the way to the ramp!!! The self parking area also needs to have arrows directing cars which direction to go as there is NO place to turn around or allow a car to move over to let another car by! VERY FRUSTATING!!

Enjoyed Most: The room is large and nice
Other Comments: Nickel and dimed for everything. Pool was extremely small. Parking is atrocious and you pay dearly for it. Facilities were in poor shape
Daniel Jul 25, 2016 Centennial, CO, United States
Enjoyed Most: beautiful location great views spacious rooms for 2 people small fridge, sink and microwave
Other Comments: There are so many extra fees that you end up paying almost double the Travelzoo price. Also, I was charged for my 3 nights at the time of booking and then I was charged again the entire amount upon checkout so I am have been trying to reach a manager to help get my credit card reimbursed. Maybe Travelzoo could help?? Nice hotel, but next time I will rent a house. $20 per day to self park my car.

Enjoyed Most: Great location
Other Comments: We never received our $40 in spa credits and the many extra add on costs were crazy. We booked the room through travelzoo for $119 a night and our bill ended up being $360 for two nights when we expected to pay around $240.
