We loved our stay at the Sutton Place in Toronto. We were there for just a one night staycation.
The hotel is in a great location in the Entertainment District, making it a good spot to explore the City and it’s attractions. The front desk staff greeted us warmly and gave us an upgrade. Our room was ready when we arrived early which was great.
Our room was spacious and comfortable. We had a one bedroom suite with a living room area and walk in closet. The beds were super comfortable.
I highly recommend the Sutton Place.

The staff were wonderful, answered all my questions. The suite was lovely, gorgeous bathroom with separate shower (huge) and a big sunken tub which I made use of! Lovely comfortable king sz bed. Coffee maker (a nespresso maker). The valet parking attendants could not have bee nicer. When they retrieved the vehicle when leaving, they had even turned on the seat heaters & the steering wheel heater. they put our luggage in the car and opened the door for me, very attentive.

Our room was not against any other rooms. 2 walls were outside walls, one was on the backside of the elevators (no noise) and the door opposite us in the hall, was stairs. So it was very quiet.

This was the 2nd time we stayed here. The first time we were upgraded to a larger room after complaining that we didn't like the first room. This time I asked for an upgraded room but didn't like it as much. The bed was in the center of the room which was a strange waste of space. It was a special 65th birthday celebration for my husband. They sent up two glasses of champagne and a dessert with a card which was a nice surprise. I loved the roof top pool. The water temperature is perfect. Not too cold, not to hot. Just perfect, no shock getting in.

I booked this as I had a holiday party downtown and live 1.5 hours away. It was a good deal and a nice okay for me time away from family responsibilities. The hotel is very nice and the rooms were big. My two issues were 1) I couldn’t adjust the heat in the room. It was set high for night, I usually sleep at 18 degrees, so I had trouble sleeping. The second issue was that I was put right beside the wing they are renovating so I woke up at 8 (after going to bed at 2 am) to a lot of noise. If my room was somewhere else, and I was able to work the heat, it would have been a perfect stay.

Loved it ! Well located in the Entertainment District, 250 meter walk to the PATH, 10 minute walk to Union Station. Big, well appointed room with a cozy feel. Will definitely stay here again !

Very dark, very small room that was overlooked by a large condo building and other hotel rooms. Armchair upholstery (arms especially) needed to be cleaned. Overall, not a space in which you would want to hang out.
Since I didn’t use the included parking voucher, I was hopeful that might help my chance of getting an upgraded room (also part of the offer, when available). This didn’t happen, unfortunately, although only a few hours earlier it was possible to book one of those rooms online.

I was really impressed with the hotel. We were right in the heart of downtown, close to dozens of restaurants, theatres, ScotiaBank arena and much more. The staff was friendly and everyone from the valet to the front desk to the restaurant staff was warm, welcoming and helpful. We were very impressed by the stylish and spacious rooms, which appeared to be recently updated. The free parking was a big bonus. We’d definitely return, especially if Travelzoo was running the same promo!

Attended the Royal winter fair. Hotel was very close to exhibition park. Able to walk easily to China down. Nice sized rooms. Very nice beds and linens. Valet parking was a nice bonus.
