The Travelzoo package was misrepresented. It suggested that a daily $34 “destination fee” that covers a food and beverage credit, but was no such thing! Even at check in, we were led to believe we had $34 “free money” to play with, and charged items to the room that we otherwise would not have purchased. Then at checkout it was sprung on us that we in fact had to pay for those items. NOT COOL! Nobody was ever able to explain what that $34 daily “waived” destination fee was for! Also not pleased that we had to accept a disabled/handicapped person’s room. I booked this room 3 months out and did NOT request this. There is no excuse for the appropriate room not being available.

Simply a fabulous hotel. The breakfast at Yolan was wonderful. The rooftop pool was beautiful. It was about a 9 minute walk to Broadway. Rooms were stylish for sure and quiet. Having the valet service paid for was huge for us.

The distance was close to all downtown attractions but far enough away to have it quiet while sleeping. We would love to stay here again when visiting in the future.

Upon checking in we were informed the Joseph only had is down for one night, not four nights. They informed us we had to contact Travelzoo to resolve this issue. However, travel zoo customer service was closed and there was no way to contact them. We were at a loss of what to do. How can a travel company that is a third party be closed at 6pm with no way to contact and resolve issues. After a few hours, the manager was able to resolve the issue. Will likely not use travel zoo again because of this issue and no way to resolve in the future. Can’t imagine being stranded late at night with no way to contact travel zoo if another fiasco occurs and the hotel is unwilling to fix the issue.

The Joseph is ideally located for exploring downtown Nashville. It is nicely appointed and the staff very attentive. The rooftop pool area is a popular spot with very comfortable lounge chairs. We had some issues with the shower faucet controls but overall the room, including the bedding, was very comfortable.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Joseph. The location was perfect - just a short walk to Broadway. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was beautiful and clean. We loved the extra large tv and the shower. I appreciated the lighted makeup mirror. We also appreciated the welcome gifts from the spa, the welcome beverages and waived valet parking thanks to Travelzoo. We would definitely stay here again!

Very unusual that there was no refrigerator available in the room for guests to use. There was one fully loaded with items available for sale. Restaurants, especially the coffee bar in the morning was quite expensive; it would have been nice to have morning complimentary coffee service for the guests. My daughter paid $8 for a plain iced coffee!

They are Vague on their complementary offers. For instance, two cocktails from four walls does not exist..(that complementary offer) They say it shouldn’t be on the TRAVELZOO website, but it’s on the website of their own hotel on the iPad in your room.. They play very loud music at the pool. I don’t really think that’s necessary. It’s not everybody’s taste. Had breakfast two days in the hotel restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch it was delicious. Front desk staff are helpful, but they scramble and backpedal regarding the free drink offer for ..four walls bar

We were there for a girls weekend and the staff was so amazing and accommodating. The service is impeccable. They won't let you open a door, click the elevator button, carry luggage. Every staff member provides excellent service. They must have done the disney or some similar customer service training with their staff. The rooms were great, the hotel is beautiful, the bar makes great craft cocktails, amd the Rooftop has wonderful views. I would definitely come back again.

We had an event at music city center and it couldn't have been closer. The coffee shop had amazing pastries and brunch was so good. The rooftop pool is beauful as well as all of the artwork. The rooms we had were luxurious and the staff was quite attentive.

The only issue we had was a confusion about the 34 per day food. It has to be used on that day and does not carry over for the remainder of your stay.

The staff was friendly and professional and extremely helpful. The hotel is gorgeous, meticulously clean, the furnishings and fixtures are all very tasteful and luxurious.
The bed was soft and comfortable. The room was so quiet we never heard another guest in the hallway. The bellman was so pleasant and helpful.
The concierge was delightful and helped me set up a birthday surprise for me husband.
My only regret is, I wish we had more time to enjoy the hotel and the speak easy was not open the night that we stayed.
