I’ve stayed at Avila Lighthouse Suites many times. I appreciated being able to book on TravelZoo and save a little bit. This hotel is in an excellent location in a cute beach town.

Our family of four had a wonderful time at Avila Lighthouse Suites during ski week. The location is perfect, set in the beautiful town of Avila directly across from the beach h and adjacent to a park. The hotel amenities were numerous. We loved the morning yoga, onsite activities (ping pong, giant checkers, putting green, cornhole) the beautiful pool and jacuzzi with nice music and the morning breakfast was very good with so many options (waffle maker being the best!). The suites were clean and good sized and we liked having our little patio. Having the mini kitchenette was also convenient. The best part was getting such a great deal through Travelzoo.
Other Comments
The only thing we thought needed more work was increased upkeep on the pool area. Trash wasn’t getting picked up, towels were always on the low side. We never saw anyone come in and check on the area yet it was used a lot throughout the day.

The bathroom had double sinks, and the suite has lots of room. The deal even had a bottle of local wine, very nice, Bed was very comfortable and the area was nice a quiet.

Excellent location, rooms were very clean, constant upkeep on the property was on going. I loved the virtual assistant app.

The only small issue was that the reception staff could be more friendly and welcoming.
