The staff was great and overall the room was reasonably comfortable. But whoever decided to put the toilet right in front of a floor-to-ceiling window facing another building about thirty feet away should quit practicing architecture! Also, I would much rather have a small refrigerator than an “honor bar”.

Champagne vending machine in the lobby sets the tone for elegance and whimsy at the Morrow. Staff was very friendly. Parking is expensive at $55 per night. Minutes to a metro stop. NoMa is a thriving area with lots of restaurants and bars. Rooms were nice. Bathroom counter was large. Wish there were two chairs and a bigger table in the room. Rooftop had a great view and vibe.

Lovely small hotel a half mile walk from Union Station and 1 block from the Metro station. The hotel is new. It is spotless, quiet, and modern with a friendly staff. There is a French restaurant in the hotel and a roof top bar. We went 4 days in Washington, DC doing all the tourist things. The location was good for access to public transportation to get anywhere we wanted to visit. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Morrow. The location was perfect and the room was beautiful. The front desk staff, especially Dexter, and valet staff were very friendly and helpful. They certainly made our stay very comfortable. We will certainly stay at the Morrow when we return to D.C.

Loved the hotel. Near the Metro stop Red Line. Could hear sounds from the metro and train out the window but that added to the ambience. The sound was never intrusive and did not interfere with my sleep. Always greeted at the door by doorman. Asked for a small refrigerator for my room and it was delivered within 15 minutes of my check-in. Provided daily maid service. The hotel was close to a couple of grocery stores and fast food locations. The neighborhood is in the process of being revitalized and the energy is contagious. I was not worried about walking around during the day but I did think twice about venturing out on my own after dark. I would go back to The Morrow.

The location was great! Situated in NoMa, right next to the metro which allowed us access to Union Station ( we took Amtrak into DC, allowing us to get to all the Museums within walking distance. The room was comfortable, staff was very nice. There was a mini bar available but we did not use it except to place our own water and drinks in it so with that said it would have been better if it was a mini fridge. Otherwise an exceptional experience!

Very chic and modern, plus comfy beds! I absolutely loved the decor, the terry cloth robe and slippers in room were a plus! They have a nice rooftop bar for as well. The location was great bc you’re in walking distance to union market, also you’re next to a metro stop which is great to get around DC.. two things I hope they change is adding spa amenities and the pillows are covered in plastic so every time you adjust while sleeping you hear it plus it can make you hot. Despite those things I would stay here again.

One other thing I liked is that I landed much earlier than my check in and I was able to leave my luggage at the hotel until my room was ready. I didn’t have to lug it all around dc. They did the same for me when I left as my flight was later in the day I could still explore without having to bring my luggage. They also text me once my room was ready and sent a couple of text throughout my stay to ensure I was enjoying my stay.

Message was on the tv when we got in. The staff provided necessary items quickly! H street is nearby for restaurants and a good time. Our only gripe is there were stains on the first and second robes requested. They finally got it right on the third request for clean robes. Rooms are comfy. Shower is divine and I would definitely stay again!

I requested room away from the train station but was not accommodated.
Informed the front desk in less than 3 hours that I would be checking out after the 1st night. Desk manager refused to notate and refused a refund. His reasoning was because I booked with Travelzoo and got a deep discount (although I did research and the price was comparable with Hilton at time of booking. Told me that I would have paid double if I booked direct. I told him I would never pay $350 a night for this particular hotel.
Too much scenting in the lobby and elevator
Required a $150 daily deposit that was to be refunded upon checkout - held for 5 days
Beds were not made properly, I.E. - no pillow covers only shams. bottom sheet on one bed was a bed skirt, duvet had two flat sheets in lieu of a duvet cover therefore no top sheet. Very inappropriate.
Dress code for the roof top restaurant is a little excessive. We could not enjoy dining there because you cannot wear tennis shoes. Cannot get take out and/or room service from there. I expected the restaurant to be that way but not the roof top bar.
I am a Hilton member, have stayed in Hilton hotels for the past several years in many cities and never had so many issues with such little resolve. Although I can appreciate the employee loyalty, it is most certainly displaced for this hotel. I found the evening staff to be quite rude and arrogant.

Overall, this is a fantastic, comfortable stay that is close to food and DC sites. The location is a five minute walk from the NOMA/Gallaudet University metro stop. Area is safe and hotel is closely located to H Street and Union Market. Room was comfortable and clean. My room overlooked the metro tracks and I could hear the train when it went by - metro trains to not run through the night so noise was not an issue. My one complaint is slow guest services. I was staying for my birthday and a family member (who was not part of the reservation) tried to call ahead to add dining credit or some kind of gift that I could use at the hotel. She was redirected to guest services twice and both times left a message that was not returned. Additionally, I called guest services for a tooth brush and it took two phone calls and a thirty minute wait to receive it. When I called the second time, I was met with a brisk "you called before?" when I noted I had called prior. All people at the front desk and greeters at the door were welcoming and friendly. I would stay again.

I loved this hotel. Comments that I would make for changes are:
1. The beds are way too soft; I understand different strokes for different folks, but there should be some meeting in the middle for the many like me who prefer or need a firmer rest.
2. I like the greeting on the TV upon entering; suggestion to have the HVAC controlled thru the TV as well as the Wifi, etc, as I've seen in some hotels.
3. The elevators are too slow; to wait for one to arrive is like watching paint dry.
4. The liners on the bed pillows cause them to be blown up like balloons when you lay your head down on them.
Other than these inconveniences, I loved the rooftop bar, the vibe and the view. the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Loved the location, proximity to restaurants and eastern market. All of the doormen were very nice. The gym was aesthetically pleasing just would have been better without the random men.

When I arrived at 4:30 they said the reservation was not ready even though check in is 4pm, so I had to wait in the lobby for a bit. Then I was given a room directly in front of the elevator. When I called down to ask if there were other rooms available I was told no even though their website has rooms available to book. There was a group of girls taking pictures and hanging out in front of the elevator for like 45 mins at like midnight and they were very loud. You could also hear any time the elevator said going up or going down along with the beeps. Definitely not a relaxing stay. I asked for more shower gel and never received it. When I went to use the gym there were several construction workers in and out staring while I tried to work out. The TV stopped working (said no signal) on my last morning. I’m assuming the placement of the room and service I received may have to do with booking a discount rate. The front desk mentioned twice that this was a travel zoo booking. I don’t think I should be penalized for finding a deal and not paying full price. If the hotel doesn’t want people to use deals then they shouldn’t have them available. Also the note was very clearly not sold out, so seems like they need people to book.

The Morrow was a very nice stay with a beautiful decor. It is also in a great location close to the monuments and near great food spots. But there were a few things I didn't like.
Parking: There is not any consistent parking in the area besides they're valet service, which costs $55 a day. You can drop and pickup as you please, but that still is a hefty price.
In room amenities: Inside the room there is not a fridge or a microwave. There is only a minibar, which to me is inconvenient for leftovers or having your drinks cold.
T.V Personalization: There is a great large 65" TV, but you can't connect to it all with your phone or laptop. You are at the mercy of the streaming services and channels they have available and there are only a few options.
Overall I did have pleasant stay.

Yes, location was amazing! Some of the staff like the guy from Egypt who opened the door was professional and pleasant. The bedding was crazy. I actually am going to buy the bedding. The lighting has inspired me to try a similar layout to theirs and the bathroom was unmatched! I have never ever had a bathroom experience like this. The soap smelled like vanilla and pepper.

They charge a 150 incidental fee per night that was NOT disclosed during booking. Apparently this is not the first time a guest has complained and they promised three months ago to disclose it. They never did. They blamed you guys and said that they had no control over third party providers. They had a refrigerator full of liquor but no where for me to put any food. No microwave to reheat my food. No pool despite this being on the website. The roof top restaurant was a night club and has a dress code. So after a long day of site seeing I couldn’t even relax and watch a view of the city in peace and quiet. But a bunch of people not even staying here stumbling out of the elevator could, yep. Every time we entered the hotel we were constantly being asked if we were guess because there is a dress code for the night club. All the other hotels had outside lounge areas but this one.
