We enjoyed our stay. Great location for touring the park. The breakfast selection could use some additions, like yogurt and hard-cooked eggs.

just a fw problems in the room that the staff answered quickly

the FINE print of charging for parking was not appreciated. But that was deleted thankfully because the pool was not available

Richard, at the front desk, provided the best customer service we’ve had in ages! Five-star resort quality service! He was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He went out of his way to ensure that guests had everything they needed for a great stay. He is truly an asset to the hotel.

New-ish hotel (opened in May '22), right off the main road leading to Yosemite. Some decent restaurants nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff. Best hotel breakfast we've had in a long time. The pool wasn't open yet (computer chip issues, we were told), but that wasn't a big deal to us.

Disappointed that the pool was closed and we were charged for parking.

Friendly staff, accommodated us with an early check in, perfect amenities with breakfast, microwave and fridge in room. Too many guests bring their dogs to common areas; lobby, coffee area, breakfast area, escaping rooms and running down the hallway on 2nd level

While hotel was nice I will choose a hotel that does not allow pets in future. I don't want to stay in a room an animal has been in, or have a dog hanging out in the lobby as I try to get coffee. No pets allowed will be one of my filters. Pool not being open was unfortunate. Booking said open by Aug 31 so an update by email when I was reminded if my reservation would have given me the choice to cancel and book elsewhere.

Room and all were great. The $10/day parking fee was silly. Otherwise, great place.

Lose the parking fee.

Nice, new hotel. We were in an accessible room
- inadequate storage space
- shower water got all over the floor and had to be wiped down after each use

Oakhurst is located to the south of Yosemite and an easy drive to the park. The staff was great as was the morning breakfast that included fresh waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage Pattie’s AND links, breakfast cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit, bagels and bread. A full yummy breakfast to start your day!
The room was comfortable and clean.
My only negative comment would be the $10 parking fee. Why is there a fee to park?? I parked myself, so it’s not for valet, and my car sat outside, so it’s not covered. They should just treat parking like breakfast and include it in the hotel room rate. The extra $10 just doesn’t feel good.

We very much appreciated that they allowed us to check in early after traveling 6 hours all we wanted to do was sleep. The bed & bedding was very comfortable. Everything was very clean, everyone at the front desk were very nice, those working in the breakfast room were quick to clean up and refill the the food trays. Bring your own water bottles to fill from their water refill, we used it plenty, otherwise $7 water bottles is the cost in their shop
Definitely would return. Pool was not available to use.

I think water bottles should be free like Marriott & Hilton give you when you ask, not $7 from your little shop. ITS WATER. We paid $10 for parking, there’s no security or even a gate .

The room was exactly what we needed (clean, spacious, easy). There were a bunch of good food options in the area as well. The town is much bigger than it appears from the drive in from Yosemite's south gate.

Hotel is new as of May 2022. Great town. Room was clean though no daily cleaning services are offered, and no mention of this was made by desk. Breakfast is great. Pool not operating but next door is available (Fairfield Inn) . Good selection of restaurants in the area. 1/2 hour to Yosemite gate so if you have a late afternoon arrival you can still get to the Sequoias .

Bedding is a polyester nightmare. You sweat all night and throw off the covers to breath and the air conditioning will chill you. Did this all night long. Not good. Found a cotton blanket in the closet and this saved us the second night. We could sleep without the sweat. Who chooses this stuff anyway????

Very nice experience. Beds were the best part, lol! I would recommend to anyone who doesn't mind driving a bit to the south entrance.
Other Comments
The only reason I wouldn't go back is that next time visiting Yosemite I would go to a hotel inside the park.
