Very easy check-in. We needed to request the bottle of wine that was included with our booking, but the staff was quick to provide it. The photo showed 2 chairs on the veranda, which was not true. Instead of 2 chairs there was a stool. Not comfortable for us to sit and enjoy wine. We upgraded our room to an interior with a view of their edible garden. Although we did have a view of the garden, we also were looking at the rooftop of the adjacent building. The hotel and our room were beautiful, located downtown. An easy walk to shops and restaurants. We would stay here again.

It gets a bit loud at night on one side of the building. Late night bars nearby.

A great place for a getaway. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean and full of great amenities. We particularly liked the pour over coffee! The rooftop pool and bar was fun too, but it appeared that the staff up there were new and a bit overwhelmed with the number of people. The only thing that we were disappointed with was the shower. Such a big and spacious shower but the shower head was so small! It just felt out of place. We will definitely return to this property.

The grounds of the hotel are very nice. 5 stars to our valet “Keigen” I think was his name. He was super helpful and made us feel welcomed- we enjoyed the rooftop pool. We liked the cleanness of the hotel room.

My husband and I came to celebrate our anniversary. At checkin we felt unwelcome and the concierge that was specifically assisting me did not know the answers to my questions about the travelzoo package. He seemed aloof and unsure. And I had to actually go back down stairs from the room we were checked into and show another concierge about the package pointing out what was missing- complimentary bottle of wine- though minor seeming, just really didn’t feel the special welcome aspect for a celebratory trip. I work at a Marriott hotel and making guests feel special and welcomed (give your guests a top notch experience) just wasn’t there unfortunately. Was it because we were travelzoo? Or was it just the front desk service on a regular? That’s my question…. The hotel room was nice- a little cramped but the bed was the downfall, super uncomfortable as well as the pillows. That’s one thing you look forward in your stay- a comfy bed! The restaurant service was lacking as well. We felt our servers forgot us. We tried both breakfast and dinner. The smoky smell in the hall ways of the hotel was a little unpleasant.

Front desk made many errors with info/billing/ filling requests. Location, rooms, restaurant all excellent but it was because of the front desk that it was not a perfect experience.

Front desk didn’t seem trained. Couldn’t answer simple questions. Didn’t know about $25 breakfast credit. Had to call them to get email receipt twice. Didn’t know how to hold luggage for a few hours
