This is a new lodge that is luxoriously appointed. Friendly, accomodating staff. Restaraunt was average for Seattle standards. Very good cocktail service. Very nice, quiet. Beds were excellent! Nice clean hiking trails. I would prefer a more remote location as it is very close to the city. Lovely jhistoric building that has been remolded into a resort like retreat. Loved the Library !

Well done! Kudos to the Management for pulling off this new venture during a Pandemic! I appreciate the conscientiousness of making sure Covid guidelines are met with proof of vaccination and masking indoors. Lovely place. The Lodge honored the Travelzoo voucher and met my expectations. I would reccommend. I would say this more suited for adults rather than families with children. We never left the property for the two nights we were there!

This place is wonderful! The restaurant is incredible. The rooms are well appointed. It is a dog friendly establishment, although there is no place for the dogs to run off leash. That is the only thing I would change.

This lodge is in a beautiful park setting. The staff are very accommodating. A two day stay would be the best option for using both the grounds and the building.

Because it is relatively new, there are still components that need to be addressed. We gave our recommendations to staff and they were receptive.

We were celebrating a birthday and they sent a bottle of champagne and a lovely tray of sweets. Rooms are very small and beautifully appointed. Shower leaked. Restaurant was ok. Feels like they are on a learning curve. Food was inconsistent. Lovely grounds. Appreciate their pet friendly policy.

I used to live right by this property, so wanted to check it out. Beautiful property and if I was not working so much, I would have walked trails and enjoyed more. I was disappointed that my room stared out at a building, when many of the rooms are gorgeous views of trees and the property. And I really wanted a room with a tub and mine was a shower. I should have asked to change but, I did not think about it till I was in my room. Photos showed tubs, so assumed they all had them. I had dinner and the food was fabulous as was the service. I really think the stay was lovely and I would for sure come back and ask for a room with a tub and a better view. I could still see all the lovely grounds around the building.

Jazzy made sure we were taken care as soon as i calledwuth an issue with Travelzoo. Upon arrival, Katherine was just a joy. We got to our room quickly. The accommodations were lovely. Small things like a rove and good hygiene products (even a shower steamer bomb). There was a nice note with snacks and water. The Heritage bar was great. (My only minor complaint is the bar guy didnt seem interested in checking food allergy stuff for me). The new guy was great, clearly trying to absorb everything. Our bartender. Didnt get their name. They had beautiful meaningful tattoos and made great drinks. Downatairs at the charity event, the whole staff was pleasant, professional and efficient. Dinner was delicious. Had a great latte in the morning with fresh chocolate croissant. And breakfast was delicious! Overall fantastic little getaway!!

The Lodge provides a peaceful getaway in a beautiful setting not far from Seattle. The renovation is amazing. Our large room on the top floor was spacious and quiet. We very much enjoyed our two night stay including an excellent dinner at the restaurant. Highly recommend staying here especially with the savings offered by TravelZoo.

Do take a look at the historical exhibits showing the Lodge was originally a seminary. Great care was taken with the transformation into an upscale hotel.
