Nice setting.
Other Comments
Lack of communication about not cleaning the room, presumably because of lack of staff. Wifi so weak as to be unavailable.

We had a lovely experience. Even though there isn't anyone on site one is able to connect and ask questions very easily. Loved the quiet atmosphere.

The room was so nicely decorated with its own private patio and fireplace. It had a microwave, fridge, dishes and silverware plus pool towels. They brought breakfast on a tray to our door each morning. The hotel was very clean, pretty and quietly peaceful. Communicating with the staff was all done by email or text.

My reason for not going back is that the WiFi was so weak we were unable to use our iPads at all and the tv reception wasn’t too good either. I reported this and was told I could use the WiFi in the lobby which was not convenient for us.

We spent 4 nights at Borrego Valley Inn and had a wonderful visit. We spent time hiking in the Anza Borrego State Park and enjoyed seeing the little town of Borrego Springs. Really good restaurants there and the people are very friendly. We highly recommend and will visit again in the spring to see the wild flowers. Oh, and starry, starry nights!

Great location, awesome rooms with Spanish decor. Private patios for star-gazing, breakfast delivered to your door each morning. Highly recommend!

Everything was pretty good except a few major things. First, there is no staff onsite at all or a front desk or live person to answer any phone calls. Second, the water in the shower was lukewarm at best. It would’ve probably been warmer if I took a shower outside….it was that bad. Lastly, only 4 of the 60 some odd cable channels actually worked and when they did, they cut out badly so you couldn’t even watch or follow along with what people were saying. Ambiance great, room was clean & nice. Breakfast was a nice touch but those other 2 things I mentioned are deal breakers

WE loved the hotel. The only downside was the internet didn't work in the rooms. We were told we would have internet so my husband planned to do some required work, but was unable to.
