$35 & up – Cirque du Soleil in Vancouver incl. Weekends
The Montreal Gazette called it "spectacular" and "an absolute pleasure to watch."
Cirque du Soleil's "Luzia" is getting great reviews for its "beautiful imagery" and "gasp-inducing 'ooh' and 'ah' acrobatic moments" (Toronto Sun). This deal, which includes prime weekend performances, saves up to 15% on tickets when the show comes to Vancouver.
Performances are Oct. 4 - Dec. 14 under the big top tent at Concord Pacific Place. Choose from these price levels:
- Price Level 3 ... $34.70-$57.65 (CA$46-$72.25, reg. CA$54-$85)
- Price Level 2 … $50.73-$71.21 (CA$67.25-$89.25, reg. CA$79-$105)
- Price Level 1 … $63.55-$84.77 (CA$84.25-$106.25, reg. CA$99-$125)
Prices vary within these ranges depending on the performance date. There are extra fees of CA$11.75-$14.25 per ticket, but that's the standard charge on all tickets.
The show is inspired by the sights, sounds and people of Mexico. Acts include trapeze, hoop diving on giant treadmills and an award-winning contortionist named "the most flexible man in the world" by GQ. This is Cirque du Soleil's first touring show to use water as a central element — acts are performed under a curtain of rain and in a pool.
Travelzoo Tip: Make it a Vancouver getaway; save more than 30% on stays at the nearby Executive Hotel Vintage Park.
