Why We Love This Deal

Spring is in the air, and so are the enchanting melodies of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra.

Travelzoo members can save 30% on two shows playing at the Alex Theatre in Glendale and Royce Hall in Westwood in April and May. Tickets range from $22.40-$99.40 (reg. $32-$142) for all seating sections.

Choose from the following performances:

Horizons: Beethoven + Skye” performs April 20 at the Alex Theatre and April 21 at Royce Hall.

  • Derrick Skye is a Los Angeles-based composer known for his innovative approach to classical music. Highlights of his oeuvre include "Prisms, Cycles, Leaps 3," which blends Western classical traditions with musical elements of the Balkans, the Volta Region of Ghana and Hindustani classical music. Skye's unique background provides a stark contrast with the timeless compositions of Ludwig van Beethoven while also celebrating the spirit of experimentation within classical music.

Departures: Montero + Mozart” performs May 25 at the Alex Theatre.

  • Recipient of the 2018 Heidelberger Frühling Music Prize, pianist Gabriela Montero will help LACO conclude its spring orchestral series with her rendition of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 24 in C minor and Franz Schubert’s Symphony No. 9 in C major—the Austrian composer’s last symphonic work.

Note: Additional fees starting at $5 per ticket will be added at checkout, but that is standard for all purchases.
