Get your thrills now that Six Flags America in Bowie, Maryland, is open for the season -- or plan ahead for summer by purchasing tickets in advance. Day passes are now $41.98 (reg. $65.99 at the gate; reg. $45.99 for kids under 48 inches tall) for any regular operating day during the park's 2017 season. Buy tickets now, and pick a date later. No need to choose a date now.
Located just 15 minutes from Washington, D.C., Six Flags America is home to 10 roller coasters (including the 200-foot-tall hyper coaster SUPERMAN: Ride of Steel), thrill rides and two areas dedicated to children’s rides.
For a calendar of park hours, visit Six Flags America's website. Admission also includes access to Hurricane Harbor water park once it opens for the season on May 27. The park closes for the regular season on Sept. 4, but re-opens weekends in October for Fright Fest, and select weekends in November and December for Holiday in the Park. This year's newest attraction is the giant water playground Splashwater Falls.
What's the Catch?
There are extra taxes and fees: $4.35 per ticket and $8.99 per order. But the fees are actually less than what you’d pay on full-price tickets.
