Explore the opulence of the Gilded Age at Rosecliff, a stunning historic property located in Newport, Rhode Island, and the latest exhibit on display at the community of architectural wonders known as the Newport Mansions.

When you visit, the façade of the property may look familiar—especially if you watched the HBO series "The Gilded Age." Rosecliff recently reopened to the public following an extensive $7.4 million restoration, and now Travelzoo members can save on admission to see the mansion up close and personal on select dates Dec. 30 using promo code TZOO on adult and youth tickets:

"The Celestial City: Newport and China" welcomes visitors to delve into the intricate connections between Newport and China during the Gilded Age. Commissioned by Nevada silver heiress Theresa Fair Oelrichs in 1899, Rosecliff is one of the many lavish mansions that emerged during the height of influence of Newport's social elite in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Highlights of the exhibit include more than 100 works from the Preservation Society's collection, as well as Chinese art collected by Newport merchants and industrialists. These artifacts provide a glimpse into the cross-cultural exchange that took place between Newport and China, showcasing a fascination with Chinese aesthetics and craftsmanship that persisted during the era.
