In this fairy-tale ballet, a young Marie befriends the Nutcracker, who leads the toy soldiers in the battle with the mice. She is then transported to The Land of Sweets: a magical wonderland where flowers waltz, snowflakes twirl and enchanted toys transform into handsome princes.
This production was choreographed by Balanchine, known as the "father of American ballet." It's set to the iconic music composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
