The 4-star Urban Villas, designed by New York-based architects Grzywinski+Pons, is in West London, within two miles of the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew. The modern and contemporary property is in Brentford and has good transport links into Central London.
There is a lot to do in the area. Chiswick -- home to Fuller's brewery (tours are available), and known for its boutique shops and high-end restaurants -- is less than five minutes' drive away. There's also a weekly food market every Sunday from 10am-2pm.
Syon House is 12 minutes away by car and is "bursting with history", according to Time Out. Built in the 16th century on the site of the medieval Syon Abbey, it is set in a 200-acre estate and is home to the Duke of Northumberland.
Chiswick House is a Neo-Palladian villa set in historic gardens. In 2010 the gardens were restored after a £12.1 million project and are open daily from 7am until dusk. There is also a café on site serving snacks. (The house is closed until March but the gardens are open).
Richmond Park, formerly one of Henry VIII's hunting grounds and now home to red and fallow deer, is a 20-minute drive away.
There are 100 villas in total and all are designed in a contemporary, minimalist style. Each apartment includes kitchen facilities, a living area, a smart TV and a bathroom. There's also a private enclosed balcony with views of the city. Deluxe Studio Villas are slightly larger, with an additional single sofa bed.
Boki is an independent on-site coffee shop serving artisan breads, homemade sandwiches, salads, cakes and soups. It is open to hotel guests and neighbours, and offers brunch, lunch and tea. Sour Diesel Lounge is open in the evening for cocktails, wines and beers. There's also a gym.
The hotel has a bicycle rental service so you can explore the area. There is a 24-hour front desk and concierge service.
