Ship details: Hurtigruten has introduced biodiesel as fuel on a number of ships, including MS Maud, which reduces emissions by up to 80% compared to regular marine diesel. Single-use plastic is also banned onboard and the ship is equipped for shore power, completely eliminating emissions when docked in ports with shore power facilities. MS Maud features three restaurants, an interactive science center with an extensive library, outdoor and indoor gyms, hot tubs, an explorer lounge & bar and observation decks.
