$698 – China 8-Night Vacation; Lowest Price We've Seen

SuperChina Holidays

You couldn't fly to China for the cost of this entire tour with air, hotels and top sights included.

The Deal

Update (June 2, 10 a.m. EST): Due to popularity, Feb. 28 is now sold out. The package is still available for $698 on Dec. 1, 2018. Earlier departures are available for $200 more.

If you put down $698 booking your own eight-night trip to China, you'd get somewhere over the Pacific before your money ran out. In other words, we don't recommend it.

What we do suggest is this head-turner of a deal that saves at least $1200 per person compared to doing it yourself, takes care of return flights and sets you up in 4- to 5-star hotels while you explore five cities from Beijing to Shanghai.

This package from SuperChina Holidays includes:

  • Airfare from Toronto or Vancouver into Beijing and return from Shanghai
  • Accommodations for eight nights: three in Beijing, one in Suzhou, one in Wuxi, one in Hangzhou and two in Shanghai
  • Domestic flight from Beijing to Shanghai
  • Ground transportation and airport transfers
  • Daily breakfast and five lunches
  • Admission fees and professional English-speaking guides
  • Highlights: Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square,
Great Wall, Lanli Garden, Nanchang Street, West Lake and the Bund.

Valid for 2018 departures on Feb. 28, Nov. 24 or Dec. 1. Add $200 for dates on March 17, 24, 31. Many other 2018 dates available from $999-$1099 in April, May, September or October.

Hotel details

On this itinerary, Travelzoo members spend three nights at the 4-star Grand Metropark Hotel in Beijing; one night at the 4.5-star Pan Pacific Suzhou; one night at the 5-star Gloria Grand Hotel Wuxi; one night at the 4-star New Century Grand Hotel in Hangzhou; and two nights at the 4.5-star Renaissance Shanghai.

Note: Price is per person, based on double occupancy. Solo travellers pay an extra $450. This deal does not include the per-person visa fee of $180, or guide and driver gratuity of $145 per person. There will be stops along the way to visit local businesses and shops; you aren’t obligated to purchase anything. Please see trip itinerary for details.

Book by June 28.

* Restrictions may apply. SuperChina Holidays reserves the right to modify the itinerary if necessary subject to the local real conditions. SuperChina Holidays reserves the right to modify the price without notice subject to the fluctuations of exchange rates. Tour fare is based on adults (non-student group), twin share. As this is a sightseeing and shopping tour, there are designated local shopping stops on this tour, and a minimum amount of time (60 minutes) must be spent at each shopping site. However, there is no obligation to purchase anything. For those who are not very keen on shopping, visits to shopping sites should be treated as cultural learning experiences as all the products, including jade, silk, tea, etc., are deeply ingrained in the Chinese culture and well worth learning about.
