We were not sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised with everything about our stay. The staff was great, the spa treatments were really well done and the food was good. There are nice trails on the property to take walks. Overall a very nice stay.

Great experience but not very accessible. Difficult to get in and out of shower. Many activities have to be accessed via stairs. Difficult to get in and out of hot tub as no rails . No instructions were given as to how to open hot tubs or where controls were

Waiters in restaurant were very good. Hiking trails would have been nice if they hadn't been so soggy.
Other Comments
The steak dinner tasted vinegary. We were supposedly given some extras but were not told about them. Even on our itinerary, it was not listed as complimentary. People came to our door at 9 p.m. saying we missed our dinner reservation when we had never booked it. It was quite disconcerting. Massages were very oeverpriced--no registered therapists either.

Food was very good.

No Kleenex or hand cream in room Jets not working in hot tub Had to call for towels from locker room Facial disappointing - no extractions -they have never done them here as products go down deep enough and remove any clogging of pours. Room was dim and estitichion never looked at face with light or magnification. When I advised that I had before, said they must have decided on own they were capable of doing them. I had written on intake form removal of blackheads in response to what I wanted from session but she had not read it. First said appetizer and entree included in dinner, then said only entree and appetizer was additional cost. Otherwise service was good. Finally, massage was expensive and although woman said she was an RMT, a receipt could not be obtained because she was not. May have been a language issue for service provider.

I had a family emergency and I had to reschedule at the last minute. Param was so kind and understanding. My daughter has since passed. They showed me so much compassion. I recommended them to all my friends. A lovely spot for a quiet get a way.

THe spa services were great. And the tea and coffee available all day. AND the kale caesar salad. THat i really enjoyed.
Other Comments
except for the kale caesar salad, the hamburger and the curry dish, the meals were terrible. For breakfast, the toast was burnt as hard as melba toast. The tater tots were cold and hard and the eggs were burnt. The pasta dishes were tasteless. We were told they were short of staff and that the cook/chef as not there. THat was a correct statement. The price we paid for nights with the food provided, it was a waste of our money. We would definitely not recommend it to anyone.

It was nice to try something new that isn't too far from home but there were a couple of issues overall. The place needs a bit of updating, the steam was out of order, the RMT quit so our massage was cancelled last minute.
