The hotel is absolutely stunning and so are the rooms. We stayed in a superior room that was quite elegant and a mix Edwardian and Victorian styles.
The rooms are super comfortable, and quiet. The TV was modern and shower was lovely and everything seems new and well thought out.
There was coffee available on the first floor.
Other Comments
There is no staff present at the hotel except for housekeeping early in the morning and during check out. There is no restaurant at the hotel. The room lacks a fridge and microwave. But the robes in the room were warm and welcomed. There are wonderful places to eat nearby.

would be a great spot for a retreat or a wedding where all the guests could stay with everything taking place on the one property.

The Merritt Suite is a beautifully restored room with a stunning bathroom + soaker tub. Unfortunately, it's in the worst location of the hotel. Keyless access was great.

We were located on the main floor by the front entrance and there was a wedding reception. Every time I closed the doors to try and mitigate some of the noise from the wedding guests, someone would open the doors to the common sitting area. As a result, noise from the reception and the piano area filtered right into our room from across the hall. At one point, there were kids screaming outside our door at 11 PM. It was absolute chaos and there are no hotel staff to control the wedding guests and separate the reception from the hotel area itself. There was no signage and no staff on site to enforce separating the wedding guests from the hotel. It was the worst stay I've experienced in recent memory. The IPTV didn't have any channels setup. So I got to hear kids screaming, piano banging, and music from the wedding hall until midnight and beyond.

A hidden gem in St. Catherines - excellent for exploring Niagara and surrounding area wineries. It was our first time staying at this beautifully restored mansion and it will not be our last! We have already booked another stay. From start to finish we enjoyed our one night experience. We stayed in the RIchardson suite. Everything in the room was well maintained. Before our stay, we had asked if there was a fridge in the room and if there would be ice. Since Rodman Hall had recently opened, we were told that the owner had intended to put them in the room but that they weren't ready yet. Lo and behold, when we arrived, there was a fridge in the room with bottled water and ice. Thank you! Details like this matter - it means you are listening to your customers and we very much appreciate that.
We stayed in the Richardson suite. It is a large room that features a king size 4 poster bed, marble top night tables, a large dresser, stained glass lamps, a desk, ivory couch and a coffee table. To our surprise, it also had a separate sitting room with a couch and television. The suite has its own private patio - with a glass table and 4 chairs. We had a lovely view of the back garden. In the evening we enjoyed a glass of wine and a pizza on the patio. We brought it back from Johnny Rocco's - which is located next to their sister hotel (the Stone Mill Inn). The pizza was delicious. We highly recommend Johnny Rocco's. It is worth the drive.
At the back of the hotel we discovered a walking trail that leads to river below. You can walk for miles - perfect for a Fall stroll or bike ride. Next time, we plan to bring our bikes.
We had a peaceful night sleep - the bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet.
In the morning we were served a lovely continental breakfast in the beautiful dining room by the owner, himself. After breakfast he was kind enough to give us a tour of all of the rooms in the hotel which he painstakingly worked on. No detail was spared from the specialty designed wool carpet to the tiffany lamps and chandeliers. Each room has its own unique style. Nino chose each and every piece to fit in with his design vision. The results are compliment the time period nicely. You feel like you are in a stately mansion. At 74 years old, Nino has amazing energy - you can tell he put his heart and soul into Rodman Hall - a passion project and legacy that will live on long after he is gone.

Thank you for your time, and for all of the hard work you put into making your vision come alive so your guests could enjoy it. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
