Voucher cancellation & refund policy: Within 14 days of purchase, Travelzoo will give you a full refund if you change your mind or can't find dates that suit you. The Merrill House is a very unique space and provided a comfortable and unique experience. Hotel and restaurant staff were friendly and provided exceptional service. The small details elevated the overall experience -- e.g. scenting the pillows during the turndown service and house-made chocolate chip cookies was such a pleasant and nice touch! The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well furnished. The restaurant bringing dessert to our room, and their general 5-star amenities were great!

Two couples stayaction. First time visit for a 3 of the 4 people. Wonderful experience. Lovely downtown, wineries and amazing breakfast at Merrill House. The staff at Merrill were outstanding! Helpful, friendly and knowledgable.

It was very well situated but everything was closed at 3 or 4 pm as I guess it wasn’t high season. Had trouble finding something nice to eat( at the hotel was too expensive) wasn’t much to do except drive around or use your bikes because being in May. Wouldn’t have gone if we had known. Beautiful place.

Room somewhat disappointing, lots of niceties e.g. nespresso coffee maker scented pillows but uncomfortable chairs to sit in although authentic for the period. The bathroom no space to put toiletries. Food was superb both dinner and breakfast - made the visit there special.

The hotel was very different than what I had expected. The room was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast which was included was excellent. I highly recommend the breakfast. The menu for dinner sounded very gourmet and unusual , but I found nothing on the menu that appealed to me at all, so we went to town instead. High Tea was not very good and very expensive for what we got. Didn’t enjoy the tea and found not enough selection of teas. Not enough food or selection. I do not recommend dinner or High Tea. Check in was in a very crowded little room with people trying to walk by. No privacy . Staff were all very nice.

I would suggest wider selection of food for dinner. More selection of teas and more selection of food for High Tea. Dining area was not very comfortable. No tablecloths. Need more attractive surroundings and more cozy. Flowers on table .Larger tables and more comfortable chairs. .

Loved being back at the Merrill house again, last visit was before Covid and before the current renovations, really like the work that was done and all the additions!!

Loved the updates on the renovations loved the new modified enclosed dinning area and the outdoor dinning area. Really enjoyed the barrel sauna! Will be coming back soon hopefully with a group of friends!
