Breakfast service was extremely slow and some never got to eat due to tee times. Over 30 minutes before getting a coffee!

Pool broken but charged 84.00 a night a month after I was there! Very loud and vulgar guests. No one controlled groups being over served alcohol and allowing them to misbehave in the fine dining room where couples were trying to enjoy their meals.

This resort has a lot of potential! The golf course is excellent, the location is great with beautiful views, but there is a bit to be desired in the resort itself. The rooms were nice, with new appliances and lots of space and good views, but are missing some coziness and practical items. The staff are friendly and helpful, but simple services could be done to improve the experience, for example there is no map of where to go for experiences and food, and no one offering to shuttle there, which would have been nice. Overall, this was a good stay, but quite expensive for what we got.

The resort is set up for more for golfers. The dining room is quite a distance from the guest quarters and located in the clubhouse. The $50.00 cleaning fee was excessive.

Suite was very completely equipped but very small. Barely room to walk around the queen bed. All rooms overlook the fairway. Parking spaces were insanely narrow - you need to take 1 1/2 spaces. Had a lovely dinner (extra), although service was slow, but a mediocre breakfast (included). Staff were very pleasant

The staff was very kind and shuttled us to the restaurant for lunch and dinner, which was great. The restaurant was beautiful, and the servers were great by the pool and while we ordered. The food was also very good. The cocktails were amazing. The staff was very attentive at the clubhouse, and they were constantly checking in on us to make sure we didn't need anything else. They were great.

I had purchased two vouchers for my family, which equalled two rooms for four people. We are three sisters, and my dad was there as well. I didn't realize each room had only one queen bed, so one of us would have had to sleep with my dad in the bed, which is a bit weird. I told the people at the front desk and he said they could send up a cot, but I'd have to pay an extra $55 dollars for it. I would understand if we were adding an extra person, then yes, I would charge extra for a cot, but not when it's the same number of people and it's uncomfortable for the person to be sharing a bed with their dad. Instead, my poor sister ended up sleeping on their couch, which was super uncomfortable, and the front desk knew that's what we were doing, and didn't really care much. They brought up sheets and a comforter, but for the prices we paid, I expected a little better customer service. I've been to many resorts, and they would have comped that. Booking the spa treatment was confusing/challenging as well. On their website, it says they have a spa, but there's no link to where the services are. I had to call and get the website for that. Then after booking, I was given a website to pick the spa treatments.I booked four spa treatments and after I booked, they said that the fees were higher than what they had charged me. The lady I spoke to was very nice and talked to the owner who honoured what I had already paid, which I thought was very nice, and it was greatly appreciated. I found the spa prices very high for what was received, especially, since the area didn't look like a proper spa facility. Some of the workers there didn't even know where the spa was. My dad gets pedicures all the time in Toronto and he said the one he received at Muskoka didn't compare ...he said it was good, but that he gets better ones near home at a fraction of the cost. They also messed up my sister's appointment time, which screwed up the afternoon plans. So not only did her appointment get pushed back, but she slept uncomfortably that night. I also didn't like that the gratuity for the spa treatments were added on top of the high prices for the spa treatments AND they were mandatory. I always pay gratuity anyways, but it should be based on services received, whether the person liked their treatment or not, not made to be mandatory. All in all, for the amount I paid for the room stays, the spa treatments and food, I was expecting more. I was also expecting the resort to be less "corporatey" if that makes sense. It was a nice room, but it didn't feel like a resort, it felt more like a conference centre.

This was a planned mother-daughter retreat after not being able to travel for a very long time. Everything was beautiful and we would not have heard about this Resort if it wasn’t for Travelzoo. The beautiful view of the swimming pool was the main appeal for attracting us to this resort. However, we were disappointed that the pool was not open the 3 days we were there, not to mention the hottest days of summer so far. We are not golfers, so not being able to swim and relax by the pool was upsetting and put a downer on the whole experience. We would have liked to have been compensated for that.

We felt we paid more for Resort fees and extras that we were not even able to use.
