All staff were excellent ....great location. Breakfast inc. which was very good.Other than that the only thing I found annoying was that the prices to eat in the PoW is rather expensive. Have been before and will go back again.

We had a wonderful night away at the Prince of Wales! We were celebrating our ten year anniversary and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Including a complimentary cheese board at night and lovely fruit platter with our breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Can’t wait to go back!!!!

Everyone, & I do mean everyone we encountered during our stay was wonderful. From the reception desk, to the cleaning staff and the wait staff, we were treated with courtesy, kindness & efficiency.

Simple! The room and wine bottle was such a lovely greeting! The room was nicely furnished and so inviting and elegant! We did use the hotel’s pool and hot tub and it was a delight! Very relaxing! We used their towels and bathrobes and they were luxurious in feeling! Breakfast was a la carte and we had delicious coffee and a traditional bacon and eggs!

We had a lovely time at the hotel! It was so welcoming and elegant too! We loved the room decor, oranges and water for us to eat and use, the bathrobes and towels were so soft and plush! The towel heater was nice and I was able to dry my bathing suit quickly to use the next day at the Pillar and post! Sadly we wish we could have used the Pillar and Post amnesties but we did use the Prince of Wales hot tub and pool. Thank you too for the beautiful complimentary roses Friday night! What a wonderful gesture!!!! All the staff we encountered were so welcoming and very helpful. We also enjoyed your Late afternoon tea and we were very satisfied with that! Thank you for a memorable and relaxing stay!!!!!

The hotel is located in wine country, Niagara on the Lake. We were told that we could have our choice of a bottle of red or white wine in our room. We requested red and were told by the desk that they ran out of red wine so they gave us white! Inbelievable!

As a woman travelling solo, in her 70's, I was assigned a room in a cottage adajacent to the hotel. I as alone in the cottage -- no other guests in other room - and discovered that a room adacent to mine - not owned by the hotel apparently ?-- was housing two middleaged men who smoked, talked and drank on their back porch until 1:00 in the morning, keeping me awake. There was no hotel security patrol evident, and I definitely did not feel safe. I did request on two occasions to be housed in the main hotel, as I was travelling on my own and would feel more secure, but was told nothing was available. I have stayed in rooms in the hotel and enjoyed it very much, but doubt I will buy another Travel Zoo voucher for the Prince of Wales, as I think they unfortunatley reserve the worst rooms for Travel Zoo guests. How many rooms are available on a given night for Travel Zoo guests ? I hope that Travel Zoo will ensure that my experience never happens to a single woman (I am in my 70's) again.

We had a fabulous stay. Loved the ambiance at the hotel. The staff were wonderful. Food was great. Would definitely stay again. An added nice touch was the charcuterie board they provided for my husband’s birthday. Also really like the fresh rose that they leave in the room as part of their turn down service.

Th staff were very warm and welcoming. Valet car service was very convenient and included with our stay. The location was excellent and an easy to walk to the shops and restaurants. The in-hotel restaurants were very good. The eggs Benedict were exceptional.

This is a “vintage” hotel and the old world elegance is lovely. Stained glass and floral displays were beautiful. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable, although climbing steps into a tall four poster might not work for some. Would definitely book this hotel again in future. Also booked a wine tour through the hotel. The tour “bus” was a delightful vintage looking trolley. Really excellent tour guide who narrated the town and area history while driving us around to wine tastings at 4 locations. Each winery tasting also included nibbles to pair with the various wines sampled; ranging from jar-cuteries (a mini charcuterie sampler in a jar) to hand dipped chocolates. An afternoon (approximately 4.5 hours) well spent.

We had a lovely relaxed night away from home. Niagara on the Lake is a beautiful town which we have visited many times before but love it each time we have been there.

The Travelzoo breakfast package was an excellent value. The Noble Restaurant is quite elegant and offered a variety of menu items for breakfast. When our selections arrived, we were delighted to see how generous the proportions were and how beautifully the food was presented.
Prince of Wales staff were most welcoming and helpful with any requests we had. All in all, a delightful experience inspire of the rainy weather.

This was a place I’ve wanted to visit for years, and it did not disappoint. Beautiful decor and atmosphere, outstanding service, amazing food. Our room was very comfortable, and small details were attended to. And all in the middle of an incredibly beautiful town.

Room thermostat not very user friendly. Unable to set, and sleep interrupted each night by heat. Screened windows could be opened to offset, but that posed a security risk at the ground floor level.

Nice soaker tub in the room, but needed help to figure out how to drain. A service rep attended, but couldn't figure it out either. He didn't give up and came back with someone who knew the solution. The plug was controlled by what I thought was an over flow drain. The service was great.

The Prince of Wales Hotel is very appealing and the public areas are beautiful, the food is excellent, the pool/spa is inviting but our "annex" experience was not what we expected.

The get-away and occasion was our 61st. wedding anniversary. We were expecting a nice room in the main hotel, per the photo you showed on your "special deal". Instead we were put into an older room in the "annex" building, connected to the main hotel by a covered walkway. The room was adequate but "well" used. Getting to our room was quite a trip; through an outdoor covered walkway, several doors and up and down several sets of short stairs. We're in our mid 80s and it wasn't a pleasant trip getting our suitcases to and from our room. We were looking forward to using the pool/spa, which was in the main hotel, but the trek there and back was cold and wet, so we were only able to take advantage of it once. The breakfast was excellent, but having to go to the main hotel restaurant, up and down those stairs and the connecting walkway again wasn't exactly pleasant. We have made Niagara on the Lake our anniversary destination for the past few years, have always found excellent accommodation, but we were very disappointed with our 2 day stay at the Prince of Wales Hotel, April 4&5/23
