The decor in the room is quite dated. The bathroom is similar to an Econo Lodge. My wife tripped and fell on the lower level when she entered the room. Massimo's restaurant is over-priced and needs refurbishment. We were charged an extra $50 (no explanation as to why) , and we're making inquiries about this charge. No coffee maker in the room -- told that we couldn't have one due to COVID.

Given a $20 Massimo restaurant coupon and a $20 breakfast coupon. We went to the Massimo restaurant only to find out our coupon was not good if we ordered the three-course special. Did not even try the breakfast coupon because we thought there’d be a catch somehow too. Coupons were misleading & deceiving.

I booked through Travel Zoo and then phoned reservations and found out the room was not quite what I was looking for - I then upgraded, but the reservation person got it wrong for the booking. At the hotel, we went to the room, only to find it was not what I requested and it was very musty smelling. The receptionist corrected the problem and upgraded us. Her service was excellent. We found the recommended restaurant "Prime" to be excellent. However, the in-house restaurant "Massimos" left a lot to be desired. Everything else concerning the hotel was very good.

A nice getaway considering Covid 19, but because of Covid 19 there was limited buisinesses open and limited hours.

Some very noisy young people in the room next to us, I had to tell them to shut up at 4:30 am.

The price seemed very reasonable, but there are so many extra fees. We booked a room for $109 Can, but at the end we payed $193.60 Can. Self parking was $35.00, but again there was extra charges. At the restaurant we couldn't redeem the coupon, because we wanted different things. Advertisement was misleading. The hotel itself was great.

Charged us 91 dollars for parking. We specifically asked where we were allowed to park. Secondly?? Couldn’t shower or flush the toilet. Water wasn’t working in the room and no one came to fix it. During covid this is unacceptable
