I loved the tranquil ambience. The staff provided the quality service. I loved the ensuite like washroom in the massage room. It was convenient to take a shower post massage. It was a great way to start my long weekend. Thank you.

Massage was ok, not very engaging and told I had to be out of rain shower in 20 min. Never had a chance to just wear a robe and pool and hot tub. Steam was extra .

Initially the way if was on Travelzoo it sounded like it was at the Hotel Vancouver and it was at Paradox (what stood it to both of us was Hotel Vancouver) and we’d already parked the car with Valet and when we arrived at the ABSOLUTE SPA they were kind enough to call and give us direction. We by this time we’re running late due to the confusion and rushed by foot to the Paradox who initially wanted to cancel our appointments. Having come all the way from Chilliwack. I ended up not taking advantage of the Rain Shower and cutting my massage time back and my friends massage was shorter as well. Overall not a positive experience and I’ve had better RMT massages here in Chilliwack Also we were unable to take advantage of the Valet parking which was included.

I told the massaeuer a few times not to press sol hard but he didn't ease up. It was not a relaxing massage. The Pool was good but the locker room was dirty, the shower didn't work and the hair dryer had very little power.

Everything about the spa experience was first class, from the ease of valet parking, to the welcome at the spa, to the amazing private facilities and best massage ever. My friend and I were so well looked after. Thank you everybody!

Was a lovely experience right from the moment they answered the phone. Super friendly staff and the private rooms with the shower were fantastic, was so great to get up from the massage table and straight into the shower. The gift and treat box at the end was such a nice way to end the experience! The pool was closed for maintenance but the jacuzzi was open. It’s a small jacuzzi for the size of the hotel but the patio was covered and had great seating areas with fire pits. I think the only downside was the change room/locker room - granted this is managed by the hotel not the spa. They are unisex so you have to go into a change room to get into your bathing suit but they only have 2 lockable change rooms that have a shower and toilet, which means you can sometimes wait a long time to be able to change into your swimsuit while you wait for people to shower. And most of the locks on the lockers didn't work either. Really enjoyed the spa and will definitely go back - but I’ll skip the pool/jacuzzi next time.

The change room was the only downside of the spa experience - with only 2 rooms to change meant we had to wait for people to finish showering/changing which isn’t ideal. Plus the change rooms had only one hook and no where else to put your clothes while changing.

I was there with a friend. Everything from the booking, valet, spa staff was a great experience beginning to end. It's definitely a treat as it is not some "cheap" spa but I felt I got what I paid for. The value for the experience is definitely there.

Front desk staff was super polite and welcoming. Michael the therapist was friendly and gave great treatments. Loved loved the facility, got own private shower and change area.

Staff were all very pleasant and massage itself was good.

Pool snd jacuzzi were closed without any prior notice. Bathroom towel was used. Surcharge for gratuity was high and not expected or optional.

I loved it, It was a warm and very relaxing experience. Could not have been any better. Every step along the stay was enjoyable. The shower was a welcome change and great for destressing and relaxing. The massage was well-needed and I felt refreshed after the massage. The oils you can choose from are very gentle and not right into the face which makes it nice. The smell lingers for a long time and relaxes throughout the day.

I had THE best massage, by Sofia. The receptionist was so welcoming and provided excellent service. The spa was lovely and very comfortable.

Upon arrival I was welcomed and given a choice of three massage oils to choose from along with their complimentary tea. The massage, by Michael, is probably the best I have ever had. It was obvious that he has a lot of experience and knows what he is doing. Very professional. The treatment room along with its own bathroom and shower have a lovely decor and has some nice touches such as a blowdryer, curling iron, Kevin Murphy hair spray, etc. Unfortunately the pool was closed for maintenance which was disappointing as that was part of the package. However, to make up for it my massage was 90 mins long (instead of 60 mins), I received two roll-ons of massage oil, and was given the option to come back another time and receive four hours of free valet parking and use of the pool. Customer service at its best. Highly recommend.

Free parking was a bonus and the hotel looked nice. The massage was good but the masseuse had a bad cough which concerned me.

Didn’t receive everything that was mentioned in the package, use of space wasn’t clear and it wasn’t a luxury experience.

Such an amazing space and atmosphere.we were welcomed in and treated so well. Really enjoyed the care and attention to our needs.

The girls were nice and accommodating

It was basically an eXtremely overpriced massage and shower and if u book the 5 o’clock appointment you don’t get to fully enjoy the pool or hot tub service in the hotel. I got to spend maybe 20 mins there I wish they would tell you that before booking an evening appointment it’s best to book in the morning or afternoon so you can actually enjoy the day on their rooftop pool and hot tub. Disappointed and waste of money. Plus on top of that the $45 charge. Bogus

Massage was great - my wife and I were "upgraded" to the couples room and had a great experience. Unfortunately, the pool wasn't available and the change rooms for both the pool and hot tub left a bit to be desired.

Receptionist was kind and receptive. Waiting room was very comfortable. Masseuse was quite nervous and often spoke quickly, in a nervous way, especially towards the end.

The facility was clean, beautiful, well maintained, shower was amazing - with programmed features. But, all considered, it was a little over-hyped, and rather expensive, despite the TravelZoo discount. There was talk about fresh fruits being provided, etc., that did not happen. Unfortunately the pool and hot tub was unavailable due to maintenance issues.

The package that was purchase indicated "A curated spa day for one person including" (details below) We got this: * A welcome consultation to curate an aromatherapy blend and herbal tea choice for your treatment * A 60-minute full body massage * Private washroom * Free four-hour valet parking (wasn't needed - we weren't even there for 90 minutes due to everything else that we didn't get) * Xylia gift set with a roll-on aromatherapy oil and sample tea selection to take home What was unclear or not totally delivered without asking details or follow-up was: * programmed light therapy rain shower experience * Complimentary access to the hot tub (had to pass through a night club, and this area was surrounded by a bunch of "back-of-house" tables, chairs, a catch-all for a hotel * Use of bathrobes and slippers (had to ask for them after leaving the spa for the hot tub) What we didn't get was: * Complimentary access to the Paradox Hotel pool (apparently, it was closed and under renovation - not cool) * Fresh fruit and snacks post treatment - never happened, nothing in sight, nothing offered - they sent us home with a little box that contained some caramel pretzels from Costco, and a couple pieces of dried fruit - no fresh fruit or snacks anywhere to be seen) What we thought was a bit tacky: * When greeted, they said, "oh, you're here for the Travel Zoo Experience" - how about mentioning nothing about who we bought it through. It was my partner's 45th birthday, and they might as well had said "you're here for the Groupon" - the comment was not well-placed with the costs paid for this. * They invited us to come back, for free valet to enjoy the pool when it was done... no thanks * They charged us the entire service fee for everything - but we didn't get everything... and this was extremely disappointing - how about reducing for the things they advertised to deliver, and didn't?
